Zeke is a versatile beast built to impact the game from every inch of the floor. With size, strength, and bounce, he’s a matchup problem who can score at all three levels. He’s got an old-school post-game with crafty footwork and a deep bag of inside moves. But he’s just as dangerous facing up, knocking down the punishing middy, or stretching the defense with a smooth, confident shot from beyond the arc. He plays with nonstop energy, relentless on the glass, and makes smart reads as a passer. His ability to rebound at a high rate and deliver dimes from the post or perimeter gives his team an edge every trip down. Zeke doesn’t need plays run for him to make an impact, he plays physical, smart, and with a motor that never shuts off.
Before a knee injury cut his season short, Zeke was on track for a statement year. Averaging 11 points, 8–9 rebounds, and 4.5 assists, he was a major factor on both ends of the floor. His coach relied on him to control the boards, finish strong, and create extra possessions with hustle and grit. He was just hitting his stride when the meniscus injury came, but with therapy, no surgery, and a ton of determination, he fought his way back. Now fully healthy, he’s making waves this spring with Pro One Select (Gann), averaging 8–10 points and around 4–5 assists per game on the AAU stage. Zeke’s biggest improvement has been in his ball handling and confidence with the ball in his hands, and this offseason, he’s focused on speeding up his release and becoming even more dangerous with the rock.
He’s got his sights set on a big showing at the Best of the South tournament in Atlanta this July. His goals are to score more, lead more, and prove he's back. He feeds off hard-nosed plays, loose balls, offensive boards, and gritty putbacks. Those moments bring out his fire. When things get tough, Zeke falls back on the work. He knows no one on the court has outworked him, and that mindset keeps him grounded and hungry when facing adversity. His favorite coaching words were, “Play where your feet are”, keep him locked in every possession. Whether he’s crashing the glass, making the extra pass, or finishing through contact, Zeke gives his all and plays the game the right way.
Heading into his senior season, Zeke’s ready to take on a bigger role and lead his team through whatever comes their way. He’s hearing from low-major D1 and D2 programs like Lipscomb, Bowling Green, Mississippi College, Lee University, and Trevecca, and he’s ready to earn it. All he wants is a real shot. Off the floor, he enjoys golfing, fishing with his brother, and getting stronger in the weight room. But make no mistake, Zeke lives for basketball, and the comeback chapter is already being written.
Zeke’s mix of scoring, rebounding, and court vision makes him a real difference-maker. His size and toughness let him control the paint, while his passing and shot-making stretch defenses thin. A coach gets a reliable worker who plays physical, plays smart, and plays to win.
Zeke is healthy, hungry, and ready to explode. His well-rounded skillset, rebounding strength, and unselfish play make him a threat every trip down the floor. Expect him to put together a monster senior season and turn heads doing it. The fire’s lit, and he’s coming back for more. Stay tuned.
