"Versatile and Rising: A Two-Way Forward Built for the Modern Game"

Esbjörn Reidhav

@reidhav

6’8, 200lbs, Class of 2025

Terror Prep, FL (Originally from Sweden)

Esbjörn is a fluid, athletic forward with a high ceiling and a game built on effort, versatility, and impact. With long strides and bounce, he thrives in motion, whether catching lobs on the roll, finishing strong off cuts, or stepping into a smooth catch-and-shoot three. He brings a quiet intensity to the floor, and his ability to guard all five positions makes him incredibly valuable on both ends. Laterally quick and instinctive, Esbjörn is as comfortable switching onto guards as he is protecting the paint. Offensively, he moves without the ball, plays above the rim, and finds his spots without forcing shots. He’s an ideal fit in modern systems, unselfish, coachable, and built to play fast and physical.

This past season, his biggest improvement was his finishing ability, and he's now focused on making his outside shot a true weapon. He’s putting in serious work on his shooting touch and confidence, making it a priority to become a consistent threat from deep. His athleticism, length, and interior touch already make him a problem on the roll, but now, with the added weapon on perimeter shooting, he’s becoming more complete. He takes pride in guarding anyone on the court, 1 through 5, and does so with discipline and effort. Whether it’s contesting jumpers, chasing rebounds, or altering shots at the rim, Esbjörn embraces the challenge of getting stops.

Looking ahead, Esbjörn is excited for what’s next. His focus is on building momentum into the college level, and with a strong offseason, he’s ready to start his next chapter with confidence. He’s most fired up when the game turns physical, when opponents bring energy, and his team rises to meet it. He’s no stranger to adversity either. Having faced his share of challenges, he uses every obstacle as motivation, pushing through with toughness and purpose. The best coaching advice he’s ever received. “train like it’s a game”, has shaped his mindset and approach. Every rep matters. Every workout is preparation for when the lights come on.

Off the court, Esbjörn values family. He spends his time lifting weights, being outdoors, and helping care for his younger siblings. That sense of responsibility carries into how he plays the game, with maturity, composure, and purpose.

Esbjörn’s mix of length, mobility, and unselfish play gives him real value at the next level. His ability to defend multiple positions, play above the rim, and now stretch the floor makes him a unique forward prospect with the tools to thrive in a college system built on pace and spacing. His game is still expanding, but the foundation is real.

With his continued shooting development, growing strength, and natural athleticism, Esbjörn is still evolving. His goal is to find a home this year in programs looking for a versatile, high-motor forward who plays with intensity, guards everywhere, and competes without ego. His potential is rising, and he’s preparing the right way.
