James Madison HS, WI

Kenneth is a fierce, high-IQ wing who brings intensity, length, and versatility to both ends of the floor. He’s a gritty defender with strong lateral movement and a sharp eye for reading plays before they happen. He disrupts passing lanes, blocks shots, and isn’t afraid to pick up full court and make scorers feel his presence. On offense, he’s dangerous with a punishing middy, finishes well around the rim, and thrives when he’s attacking gaps. He plays with energy and pride, and when he is on his game, he’s a tough assignment for anybody. With speed, bounce, and a chip on his shoulder, Kenneth has the makeup of a matchup problem. He mixes it up on the boards and is a relentless defensive gen and a fierce rim protector. Coaches get a tough competitor who plays hard, guards with purpose, and isn't afraid of big moments.

Kenneth averaged 18 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals per game this past season including a 47-point game and earning 1st Team All-Conference honors. His biggest improvement was his ball-handling and mid-range scoring, giving him more control and confidence to create his own looks. This offseason, he’s locked in on tightening his handles and improving his outside shot, knowing those are the keys to taking his game to the next level. What stuck with him the most from last season was the sting of a first-round playoff exit and the feeling of not being able to lead his squad to the win. That fire is still burning.

Now playing for both Team Backcourt Elite and E2E 17U, Kenneth is looking to grow, compete, and get the attention of college programs. He’s built for the fast pace of AAU hoops and ready to show what he can do in front of the right eyes. His goals are to get better, help his teams win, and have fun while doing it. He’s motivated to make noise next high school season and lead James Madison to a division title while proving every doubter wrong.

What fuels Kenneth most is when an opponent starts talking after a bucket—that’s when he flips the switch. If he’s having an off night scoring, he’ll lock in and turn up the pressure on defense, making sure nobody gets anything easy. He handles adversity by finding new ways to contribute. The best advice he ever received is, “Focus on the insiders, not the outsiders.” When he hears that, everything locks in.

Kenneth’s love for the game runs deep. If he’s not scoring, he’s defending, rebounding, and doing everything else to help his team win. He’s built for the grind, and he’s passionate about showing it every time he steps on the court. Off it, he enjoys reading box scores, recharging, and staying focused for whatever comes next.

I assess that Kenneth’s defensive instincts, mid-range scoring, and toughness around the rim give him tools that translate well at the next level. As he continues to add strength and a consistent outside jumper, he becomes a well-rounded, reliable two-way weapon who can give a college team an edge on both ends of the floor.

As Kenneth continues to develop his shooting range and tighten his handles, his ceiling rises. He’s already shown he can score in bunches, guard multiple positions, and lead through effort. Expect him to raise his stock this AAU season and head into his next high school campaign as a player with something to prove, and the game to back it up. Stay tuned for another monster season driven by that hunger for a deep playoff run.
