Sean is a high-energy, do-it-all guard who plays with a relentless motor from tip-off to the final buzzer. He is a knockdown shooter from both three-point range and midrange, and he has the confidence to pull up off the bounce or spot up in rhythm. He uses his strength, footwork, and body control to attack the paint, finishing through contact or finding teammates for easy scores. Defensively, Sean is a coach’s dream, able to guard multiple positions on and off the ball, disrupt passing lanes, and shut down scorers with physical, in-your-face defense. He has a lotta DOGG in him. His rebounding ability at the guard spot stands out, consistently outworking bigger players on the boards. Every possession, he brings the kind of effort that lifts his teammates and sets the tone for winning basketball.

In this past season, Sean averaged 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block per game, earning All-Conference honors as a sophomore. His biggest improvement came in decision-making and shot selection, combining better reads with the green light from his AAU coach to “shoot the ball.” That confidence has fueled multiple standout performances on the AAU circuit, including several 20-point games and a dominant game with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks, and key defensive stops down the stretch. In Chicago RL play, he delivered 20 points against Renaissance U and followed it with a fiery 16-point first half, going 4-for-4 from deep, while adding steals, assists, and rebounds to lead his team back from a 10-point deficit. He’s also been a consistent stat sheet stuffer, posting games of 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals while impacting the game far beyond scoring.

Sean’s AAU goals were to do whatever his coach asked on both ends, make winning plays, and shoot the ball when the opportunity was there. He’s embraced being the ultimate glue guy, supporting teammates while bringing scoring punch, defensive grit, and relentless hustle. Whether it's locking down the opposing team’s top scorer, crashing the boards like a forward, or hitting timely jumpers, he does it all without slowing down.

Sean is focused on helping Glenbard South chase a conference title while continuing to elevate his all-around game. What fires him up most is seeing his teammates succeed, and when facing adversity, he locks in even harder on defense and makes smart offensive decisions. His best coaching advice was, “Shoot the ball no matter what” and "defend like someone just stole your lunch,” which perfectly sums up his competitive mindset.

Off the court, Sean is one of the most conditioned athletes in the state, constantly in the gym and committed to healthy eating and muscle recovery. He enjoys exploring nature and fishing with his dad, finding balance and focus that carry over to his game.

I assess that Sean’s two-way ability, high motor, and versatility make him a plug-and-play difference-maker at the next level. His defensive versatility, rebounding from the guard position, and ability to score from all three levels give him the tools to impact games in multiple ways.

As his ball-handling and shot creation continue to grow, Sean’s already well-rounded game will become even more dangerous. With his toughness, leadership, and consistent energy, he’s the type of player who can elevate any roster and thrive in any competitive environment. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
