He thrives in the fast pace, flying into passing lanes, contesting shots, and draining big threes with confidence. His awareness, timing, and quick reaction time fuel a crafty, high-IQ game. Gavin isn’t just versatile but a playmaker with a gritty edge who refuses to take a possession off. He plays with passion, intensity, and a fearless hunger to compete every time he laces up.

Gavin averaged 9.8 points, 5.3 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game this past season while knocking down 34% from deep. His scoring took a major jump, and he credits his off-ball movement and improved court feel as the biggest changes in his game. What really stood out, though, was the growth on the defensive end. He took pride in being the disruptor, the one who set the tone. This offseason, he’s focused on becoming a more dynamic scorer off the bounce and finishing through contact, turning tough shots into confident ones. When facing adversity, Gavin stays calm, slows the moment down, and locks in on the right play. The best advice he ever got was, "Don’t play scared".
