Stephanie is a dynamic point guard and natural-born playmaker. Stephanie is a three-level scorer with a wicked change of pace gear off the bounce and loves attacking the lane for strong finishes around or over bigger players. Stephanie is strong enough to get the shots she wants but fast enough to really put pressure on the defense in transition. As a master facilitative, Stephanie's ability and adaptability, as well as her ability to see and adjust, help her excel on both ends of the court. Stephanie is a dedicated leader. Stephanie is also a tenacious defender who loves turning her opponents over and picking their pockets clean.

Stephanie has been developing and extending her versatility by developing a genuine lay package. Along with this, Stephanie has been really keying in on becoming an elite shooter regarding ability and shot IQ. She is continually working on her defensive game as it's a high priority. Finally, as I grow older and approach the next phase of her basketball career, Stephanie has made it a point to build an even higher IQ, one conducive to the next level, through the studying of film.

Stephanie played for S40 Elevate Elite this past season with 17 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals per game. Stephanie's biggest basketball accomplishment began with what’s recent; she attended this past Top 80 Lady Phenom camp, where her

performance led her to the accomplishment and award of 2026 MVP. Additionally, while

attending the Super 60 Showcase, Stephanie received the Best Defender award. Along with this, during her past school ball season, Stephanie earned the status of All-Conference and All-State. In the past, before an injury that kept Stephanie away from the game, Stephanie also received an award for best 3-point shooter.

The team goal held for this season is to win a state and cultivate the team unity needed to do so. Coming into North Meck with many returning players, an unfavorable culture still remains within the team. Stephanie understood that when she was recruited, it was to lead this team into a mental state in which we could go and win it all. As for her personal development goals, Stephanie seeks to grow more consistent in her all-around game, stepping out further into a next-level ready leader and floor general. Being new, the biggest obstacle in achieving such goals will be getting her teammates to buy into the leadership and cultivate the mindset needed to succeed in these goals. Doing this changes the whole trajectory of one's life and shapes a different mindset entirely.

While she is still growing acclimated to the teams her new team, Stephanie, feels she has had a past with, it’s become evident that three meaningful teams to beat this season will be Mallard Creek, Watagua, and Lake Norman. The games Stephanie finds herself most looking forward to this season are the playoff games and the state championship itself. Stephanie believes her team will be able to make a deep run into claiming their conference and

claiming the state championship. Unity and hard work are the two most important attributes to adopt

To accomplish their goals.

Stephanie is known to have a poker face and an unreadable mind when on the floor. Two things that get Stephanie mentally and visibly fired up are when, one, everything's just clicking.: when the team is flowing, the coach is quiet, and the team's morale just grows and grows, it fires me up. Not having to worry about keeping the team's head in the right space and just being able to see everyone's joy as they play is something that definitely fires me up. The second thing Stephanie can say really fires her up is when there's a notable player on the opposing team, and she gets to step up to shut them down. Stephanie loves the feeling of being able to focus on shutting a notable opponent down to help her team by keeping an opponent in check. Going back and forth for a while can be very fun; the larger the challenge, the more I'm fired up. With defense being her primary love for the game, it definitely fires Stephanie up internally to rise for the occasion.

Stephanie believes that in a team sport, the team is not only handling adversity as a whole, but from the point guard's perspective, we must recognize that each team member is also handling adversity alone. As a point guard, Stephanie must keep herself and her emotions in check, handling her own adversity and making it her business to handle the team's adversity as a whole AND individually. It’s Stephanie's job to keep everyone's head in order and everyone's body operating in concordance with each other. It starts and ends with the Point Guard. By being vocal, even-toned, and instructive as opposed to destructive with her words, Stephanie is able to keep her team orderly and operating wholly. Anything Stephanie finds displeasing in her own game to herself, the adjustments made instantaneously, and reflections must wait until post-game.

Stephanie is unsure; it’s quite literally ‘the best,’ a piece of advice I live by is to respond, not react.

Stephanie has MANY interests outside of basketball; it’s hard to pursue or inquire into such

Interests with such a dedicated life in basketball. Some outside interests Stephanie holds are culinary arts, photography, videography, reading, writing, skateboarding, snowboarding, volunteer and charity work, light gaming, shopping, traveling, etc.

As Stephanie continues striving for the next level, she is certain hard work is the primary attribute needed to attain this goal. Even though vocalness is necessary in everyone's game, with the stature Stephanie holds, she is aware that being vocal is also of utmost importance for her. Being told, “You’re recruited to the level you can defend,” Stephanie wholeheartedly believes she is a D1 individual. With her work ethic, devotion to defense, and the leadership role Stephanie takes up being a true floor general for her team, she undoubtedly knows her game fits D1. No matter what level she chooses to commit to, understanding her stature and the associated uphill battle to receive the D1 offers looks

Stephanie already has; it definitely fuels her drive as a player. She was holding one current offer from Queens University of Charlotte while also garnering severe interest from UNCW, Davidson College, Montreat College, Francis Marrion, and more. Stephanie had unofficial visits with Davidson College, Queens University, and UNCW.
