Brycen is a three-point catch-and-shoot sniper, a master facilitator who is a thriving playmaker with a high IQ and good court vision. But Brycen's calling card is tenacious defense., a ruthless on-ball defender with quick hands, and beats offensive players to their spots. Brycen plays with a high-energy energy, non-stop motor.
This past season Brycen averaged 13 points and 2 steals per game. The most motivating thing that happened that will push Brycen moving forward was not getting much playing time. But he was certainly able to make the most of those minutes as, in limited time, his stats validate his impact. Brycen's goals this upcoming season are to have more than 10 wins as a team while averaging 5 or more steals per game.
Playing AAU for the WV Kings Brycen's goal was to elevate his game and help his team win. Brycen did just that by averaging 17 points and 2 steals per game and had a monster game at a tournament at GW where he went off for 35 points against Capital.
The thing that fuels Brycen's fire the most out there is losing. Brycen hates to lose, and that motivates him to work so hard and give 110%, doing everything he can to help his team win.
Brycen handles adversity by working harder or trying even harder than he did last time
What separates Brycen from others is his work ethic and hustle.
Brycen sees himself playing the next level but doesn't care what division level but the desire to continue to play the game he loves is a blessing.
I assess this blue-collar gem with a defensive swagger that will make him a quality next-level player, along with his scoring ability. No one will outwork Brycen and his ability to be a strong playmaker is solid enough to make him a strong floor general. I see Brycen as the ultimate glue guy who will be the spark plug that will provide the hustle and energy to fuel the team every minute he is on the floor. After a breakout summer, it set the stage for a strong upcoming season . as Brycen is just beginning to scratch the surface of just how good he can be. Keep a close eye on this young star as he will be making more noise this season, and his role and playing time will certainly increase. Buckle up!
