6’3, 175lbs Class - 2025 Port Huron High School, MI

Garrett is a dynamic triple-threat scoring option with a silky smooth skill set and beautiful touch. With good size and shifty speed Garrett can get any shot he wants. Garrett doesn't need any space to get his shots off. He is a match-up nightmare with his change of pace and quick pull-up-on-a-dime ability. Defenders beware that Garrett favors the 3 ball more often than not but has no problem putting the ball on the deck and attacking the lane. Garrett has an underrated defense swagger with a very high IQ, combined with a high stamina which might be his best attribute, he doesn't get tired.

This past season Garrett averaged 17.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. earning himself:

1st Team All-League

1st Team - All-Academic

1st Team All-Conference

Team MVP

Team Captain Award

He set the school's record for the most 3-pointers made in a season and during a game. (Record #1 most three-pointers in a season 61 & record #2 most three-pointers in a game 8)

He had back-to-back career-highs 35 and then 37 points. Garrett is going to try to break his own 3-point record for this season, then reach 1000 career points, break the single-game record for points, and remain on the all-academic team.

Playing AAU for Ballers Elite Garrett's goals were to play against better competition and to win in bigger tournaments. He believes that they met that because they were in a lot better tournaments and played some really good teams and put up fights every time. Garrett averaged 17 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals while making 120 3’s (42%).

What fuels Garret's fire the most is when coaches dig into him for something he does wrong or just the competition, honestly, he just likes competing.

Garrett handles adversity by staying calm not overreacting to things, not fueling any fire, and just playing his game and trusting himself.

What sets Garrett apart is his IQ and his demeanor. He carries himself off the court with manners and kindness to others.

Garrett sees himself as a player who can play at the D2 level. He has the mind for it and believes his shooting can contribute to a lot of D2 programs. Garrett already has offers and interests from lower levels that he is considering.

I assess Garrett as a major D2 talent with a high ceiling to go even higher with a breakout season which I'm expecting. I believe Garrett might have a little growth left in him. With his shooting ability, it would be robbery to limit himself. He needs to push himself and set goals that knock on even bigger doors. Keep a close eye on this stud.
