Teegan brings a fiery blend of toughness, talent, and takeover mentality every time he steps on the floor. He is a fearless guard who thrives at making combo guard magic, Teegan’s game is rooted in unselfish leadership, relentless effort, and a scorer’s touch as a triple threat scoring option. Whether attacking the rim with power, lighting it up as a catch-and-shoot sniper, or making instinctive reads few others can see, Teegan controls the game with poise and passion. He’s willing to dive for loose balls, take charges, and make winning plays that don’t show in the box score as a relentless blue-collar stud. His defense is constantly elevating, and his evolving midrange game adds another dangerous weapon to his arsenal. Coaches can count on Teegan for leadership, fearless shot-making, and a fierce hunger to win.
Coming off a strong season where he averaged 14 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds per game against some of the top competition in the state, Teegan joined the 1,000-point club. His junior season was packed with recognition and results: a 19-8 record, All-Tournament honors at McDowell, two Butler Eagle Player of the Week awards, SI Player of the Week, Team MVP at the Pittsburgh Basketball Club Showcase, and a VDN First Team selection. But beyond the stats, his growth as a vocal leader has been his greatest leap. Starting since his freshman year, he’s embraced the responsibility of guiding his team and becoming a valid extension of the coaching staff on the court. This offseason, his focus is on becoming even more dynamic by developing his off-the-dribble shooting to pair with his already deadly catch-and-shoot game.
Teegan plays on the Puma NXT Pro Circuit with Team Aitfam, where his goals are to win games and earn the recruitment he’s worked so hard for. After two heartbreaking losses to top-ranked state contenders by a combined three points, he’s hungrier than ever. Packed gyms and pressure moments fuel him. He’s chasing a WPIAL championship and wants to lead his squad deep into the postseason, proving he’s not just a scorer but a battle-tested leader who thrives in adversity.
The best coaching advice he’s ever received was, “Realize that you don’t have to go to practice and work hard, it’s that you get to.” Teegan lives that truth every day, never taking a rep for granted and bringing contagious energy to every session, every game, and every play.
I assess that Teegan’s mix of elite shooting, floor leadership, and relentless motor makes him a plug-and-play guard for any college program. His ability to score from all three levels, create for others, and embrace the physical side of the game makes him a valuable two-way asset. Coaches looking for someone who can lead, compete, and deliver in big moments should look no further.
Teegan is poised to take another leap forward. As he continues to improve his off-the-bounce shooting and elevate his defensive consistency, expect him to evolve into a complete guard with major next-level potential. His competitive spirit, court IQ, and fearless nature make him a player who will keep rising and keep winning. Stay tuned.
