Michael is a knockdown shooter with a dangerous arsenal and a next-play mindset. With a high basketball IQ, strong rebounding instincts, and the ability to torch defenses from deep or slash-off closeouts, Michael is built to punish opponents in transition and in the half-court. His silky smooth shooting touch, versatility, and calm confidence make him one of those rare players who always seems to be in the right place at the right time. What separates Michael from others at his position is how complete he plays, he’s not just a sniper, but a selfless teammate, floor-spacer, and glue guy who takes pride in doing the dirty work and delivering when it counts. Coaches should know they’re getting leadership, discipline, and a relentless will to win with Michael.

This season, Michael averaged 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists per game while shooting a blistering 40% from three. But the biggest improvement was his physicality and defensive development, proving he could hang with tough matchups and make winning plays on both ends. His offseason focus is locked in on building ball-handling strength, creating more off the bounce, and developing a nastier mid-range game. After winning the regional championship, he gained a clear picture of what it takes to go the distance, and he’s all in. Already showing out with the Shockers on the Adidas circuit, he poured in 27 points and grabbed 10 boards in two games last weekend. With the goal of winning Adidas gold and qualifying for the 3SSB circuit, Michael is ready to take the next step on a national platform.

Looking ahead to next season, he’s excited to step into a senior leadership role and guide his squad through big games and bigger moments. He plays with fire when opponents start talking, especially when it’s directed at his teammates. That’s when his edge elevates, and his impact explodes. Michael handles adversity by encouraging others, staying locked in, and focusing on the next play. The best advice he ever received was, “Just go play.” It’s how he plays with freedom, heart, and passion every time he laces up.

I assess that Michael’s elite shooting, high IQ, and versatility make him a reliable contributor who can stretch defenses, rebound strong, and bring a consistent edge. His improvement as a defender and physical presence make him an even more valuable asset for programs looking for two-way impact and floor spacing.

Michael is on track to be a breakout senior and college-ready weapon. His continued focus on ball-handling and mid-range scoring will complete his offensive bag, and his experience in high-level tournaments will only evolve his game. Expect him to rise fast. He’s got the skill, mindset, and fire to make serious noise. Stay tuned.
