Davyn Randolph is a confident shooter with a silky smooth touch and a feel for the game that makes him stand out. A sniper from beyond the arc, Davyn shot a blistering 40% from deep this past season, knocking down 46 threes on 117 attempts. But his value doesn’t stop there, he’s just as effective putting the ball on the floor to create for others. Whether beating defenders off the dribble or kicking to an open teammate, he plays with great awareness and decision-making. Defensively, he brings pride and intensity, often setting the tone with energy and effort. His shooting is his calling card, but it’s the complete approach that gives his game long-term promise. With continued development and more opportunities, he has the tools to become a consistent scoring and playmaking presence.

Davyn averaged 6 points per game last season while establishing himself as a reliable three-point threat. His biggest improvement came from improving his ability to get into the paint and create easy looks for his teammates, an area that’s now part of his offensive identity. This offseason, he’s focused on expanding his midrange game and developing a dependable floater, adding another weapon to his scoring arsenal. He plays for Griffin Elite Pruitt on the travel circuit and is locked in on continuing to grow as a pure scorer and becoming a stronger defensive presence. In 2 wins at the Mayday Connect in Harrodsburg, he averaged 10 points per game. He also had multiple games where he scored 15+ points. His next stop is Cincinnati, OH, from July 11–13, where he’ll get another opportunity to show how far his game has come.

Now at Daviess County, after spending his previous three years at Owensboro Catholic, Davyn is looking ahead to next season with focus and hunger. He’s fired up by strong defense and deep threes, but it’s the push from his coaches and the internal drive to keep improving that fuels his fire the most. When facing adversity, he resets, calms himself, and just keeps playing. The best advice he’s ever received is, “Never stop shooting no matter how many times you miss.” That trust in the work and belief in his shot is what keeps him going. Off the court, Davyn is dedicated to lifting and building strength, knowing it’s a key to unlocking the next level.

Davyn brings floor spacing, effort, and strong decision-making to the table. His shooting efficiency and willingness to defend make him a dependable option in any system. As he continues to add strength and improve inside the arc, his role and impact will expand even further.

With a strong foundation, improving versatility, and the confidence to step up in key moments, Davyn is moving in the right direction. If he keeps developing his midrange and finishing ability while maintaining his defensive edge and shooting touch, he could be a huge asset in a short time, his senior year. The potential is real, and as he gains more significant minutes, we will see how high he can fly with that lethal weapon from beyond the arc. Stay tuned.
