Electric from deep and fearless in the fire, Dawson is a lethal weapon with the ball in his hands and a nightmare to chase without it. His shooting range stretches well beyond the arc, armed with a lightning-quick release and confidence that never wavers in big moments. Whether he’s flying off screens or finding soft spots in the defense, he doesn’t need much space to make teams pay. Dawson thrives in high-pressure situations, embracing the noise and rising when the stakes are highest. But he’s not just a sniper but brings relentless energy on both ends, setting a tone with his hustle and heart. Locked in on growing into a complete player, he’s attacking the offseason with purpose focusing on tightening his handle, improving his physicality at the rim, and taking pride in being a vocal leader who can also clamp down defensively.

This past season, Dawson averaged 12 points per game while shooting a blistering 51% from the field, 45% from three, and 83% from the free-throw line. He also grabbed 3.5 rebounds per contest. His biggest improvement was his defense, where he took on the challenge of becoming a tougher, more physical stopper, fighting through screens and forcing opponents out of rhythm. His mentality shifted, and so did his impact. That competitive edge fueled Adair County’s regional championship run and a dream moment under the lights at Rupp Arena. With that unforgettable experience fresh in his mind, he’s hungrier than ever to elevate his game and leadership.

Dawson will be playing for Stars Basketball on the UA Rise circuit this AAU season, where he’s determined to compete with and against elite talent, earn respect from college coaches, and lead by example. The UA Rise Tournament in July has his full attention, and he’s fired up to show exactly what he brings when the eyes are brightest. Off the court, Dawson stays grounded in his faith and lives by the principle that pressure builds growth. Adversity doesn’t rattle Dawson but sharpens him. He brings maturity, effort, and hunger into every game, and he’s embracing the role of a leader for Adair County next season, ready to create, attack, and lead his team forward.
