Beckham is a sniper with ice in his veins, a big-game shot maker who leads with confidence and plays with an edge. He’s a high-IQ guard who brings poise, playmaking, and leadership to the floor every possession. Known for his electric jumper and knockdown range, he thrives when the moment gets tense, especially when it’s time to hit a deep three in crunch time. But there’s more to his game than just shooting. Beckham is a true floor general who sees the game ahead of the play, delivers dimes in rhythm, and competes with a toughness that lifts his entire team. He isn’t just skilled but fearless, and what sets him apart is how he welcomes pressure and leans into the moments that make others fold. Coaches should know they’re getting a competitor who brings grit, leadership, and execution.
Coming off a strong season where he averaged 17 points, 4.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds, shot 39% from deep, 48% from two, and 82% from the line, Beckham showed he’s more than just a shooter; he’s a problem. His biggest improvement was his physical strength and protecting the ball, which led to improved playmaking with a solid 1.52 assist-to-turnover ratio. He’s been in the gym focusing on finishing through contact and locking in on-ball defense to become even more complete. After earning All-State and First Team All-Region honors, Beckham is carrying that chip into the offseason with Utah Valley Prime on the 3SSB circuit. He is determined to gain more college interest and elevate his all-around game. He’s got Rock Hill circled as a tournament to make noise, and he's coming into next season with a mission: to go on a deep playoff run and prove the doubters wrong. What fuels him most is burying threes in tight moments, the kind that silence crowds and swing games. When facing adversity, he slows the moment down, processes it, and pushes forward, knowing that greatness comes through resilience.
Beckham recently picked up his first two offers from Colorado Northwestern and SWOCC, marking the beginning of what promises to be a wave. His focus remains on building something special at Cyprus, and he’s proud to be part of a team that just closed out its historic gym with a gritty playoff win, where he led the charge with 20 points and a dagger three in the final minutes. Off the court, he values time with family, and the best advice he’s ever received is, "Anyone can play basketball, but only the relentless can compete through anything."
I assess that Beckham brings floor spacing, leadership, and mental toughness to any program. His ability to score efficiently, control the offense, and rise in big moments gives coaches a reliable and fearless shot maker who can stretch the floor and steady the team in high-stakes situations.
With offers already rolling in, Beckham’s stock is just getting started. Expect his physicality and defensive intensity to level up, mixed with his offensive arsenal, making him a serious two-way force. He’s a true gamer with a hunger to win and the mindset to keep rising. Stay tuned for a monster season ahead.
