AJ is a fearless competitor with a nonstop motor and a high-octane game built for chaos. He’s electric off the bounce, crafty around the cup, and fierce when attacking the rim, absorbing contact and still finishing with force. He thrives on pressure, blowing past defenders with speed and strength before unleashing a punishing middy or gliding into smooth threes. His impact isn’t limited to scoring; he drops dazzling dimes with feel and touch, and his tenacious on-ball defense creates havoc. What separates him is that he is always the one hitting the floor for a loose ball, rising up for a rebound, or setting the tone without saying a word. Coaches don’t have to guess what they’re getting; AJ shows up ready for battle every single time.

After starting all 29 games as a freshman, AJ proved he belonged at the varsity level from the jump, averaging 11.2 points, 4.6 assists, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game. He shot 77.2% from the free-throw line and was named to the 43rd District Tournament Team while earning 11th Region Honorable Mention. His biggest adjustment was adapting to the pace of high school basketball, but he met that head-on. This summer, he locked in on consistency from deep, making his three-point shot a priority while also adding strength. It’s all part of his plan to become a more complete threat.

AJ is quiet in conversation but loud in impact. His game speaks loud and clear. When facing adversity, he studies film like a veteran, breaking down the bad, reinforcing the good, and preparing for whatever comes next. His dad’s advice, “never back down”, is evident in every bucket, every hustle play, and every possession. Off the court, AJ enjoys gaming, relaxing, and enjoying time with friends. But once the ball’s tipped, the switch flips.

I assess that AJ’s three-level scoring, court vision, and constant motor make him a headache for opposing defenses and a dream for any coach looking to build around a tough-minded guard. His willingness to mix it up on the boards and hound ball-handlers gives him added value that doesn’t show in a box score. He’s the kind of player who elevates a team in every phase of the game.

Moving forward, expect AJ to continue earning awards and becoming one of the most complete guards in his class. His potential is sky-high, and as his body fills out and his shot continues to evolve, he’ll be a nightmare matchup with college-level upside. Quiet killer, deadly game.
