His ability to consistently deliver double-double production shows both his physical strength and his willingness to battle for every possession.

One of the biggest improvements Nikolas made this past season came on the defensive end of the floor. His growth as a defender has transformed him into a versatile weapon capable of guarding all 5 positions when necessary. That ability to switch, contest, and protect the paint provides tremendous value for any system. At the same time, his offensive development has taken another step forward, allowing him to remain a consistent scoring threat while anchoring the defense. That evolution has given Nikolas the confidence to believe that games where he scores 20 points can become part of his normal standard rather than a rare occurrence.

Looking ahead to the offseason, Nikolas has already identified the next steps in his development. Improving his three-point consistency remains a key priority, as expanding his range will stretch defenses even further. He is also focused on improving his speed and strength while becoming more dangerous attacking the rim from the perimeter. That mindset has helped shape his approach to the game and continues to fuel his growth as a player. The best advice he has ever received is to never allow the other team to want it more.

While basketball remains a major part of his life, Nikolas understands that success in the classroom comes first. Education and strong grades remain his top priority, and that commitment shows in the leadership roles he holds on campus. He serves as the president of his college’s Business Professionals of America organization and is also a member of Lone Star College Student Government where he leads as the Vice President of Finance. His involvement across campus reflects the same leadership, responsibility, and work ethic that he brings to the court.

As the recruiting process unfolds, Nikolas has already drawn NAIA interest along with DIII offers. With plans to transfer this fall, depending on how his recruitment develops, his opportunities remain wide open as programs evaluate a player who combines size, productivity, leadership, and relentless competitiveness. With his recruitment completely open, the next chapter of his basketball journey will likely bring new opportunities for him to showcase his expanding skill set.
