"Thunder and Grit: The Ultimate Two-Way Force"

Writer: Kevin MosesKevin Moses

6’2” 205 lbs , c/o 25

Pikeville HS, KY

Isaiah is punishing two-way athletes with a combination of speed (4.6), power, and athleticism. Offensively he hits the running lane with purpose and makes hard cuts instinctively. OIsaiah also takes pride in blocking as a willing blocker. Isaiah always falls forward when he carries the ball, he doesn’t lose yards. Defensively Isaiah is a physical heat-seeking missile and a punishing tackler who is skilled enough to play LB at the line of scrimmage stuffing the run, and play in space in pass coverage.

Completing the 4-peat, the first one in Pikeville history is what motivated Isaiah. This will push him hard moving forward to keep that win streak alive.

Last season Isaiah had 11 carries 123 yards with 2 TD, 1 Fumble recovery for TD, 1 INT for TD, 72 tackles( 3 TFL) and 1 sack This season Isaiah has 18 carries 132 yards, 2 TDs, and 27 tackles in limited minutes. Isaiah's biggest improvement since last season has been in the weight room, and having been in the Pikesville system for a year. Isaiah's goal this season is to win a state championship.

What fuels Isiah's fire on the field is people wrong. Isaiah has handled adversity since he was in high school. Isaiah has missed significant time all 4 years due to different hand injuries. He played through some rib issues during the first 5 weeks of this year.

A coach can expect every time Isaiah takes the field maximum effort at all times, and physicality.

Isaiah would consider any level, every offer is appreciated. The thing that makes a school stand out to Isaiah is a coaching staff that wants him to be there.

Isaiah's advice or encouragement to a player coming behind him is to enjoy the ride, study film, and learn from those ahead of you. Don’t take it for granted it flies by.

I assess that Isaiah is a gifted athlete who has been hindered by injuries that have kept him from being a great player. This gem has a ton of talent and potential. Keep an eye on him.
