Cameron “Cam” Giddings has built his game on being able to hit an opponent from just about anywhere on the football field, and the rising star brings a versatile mix of speed, physical play, high football IQ, and explosive ability on offense, defense, and special teams. Cam doesn't want his name tied to only one thing because he takes pride in lining up wherever his team needs him and finding a way to make something happen. He can carry the football, catch it, cover receivers, come downhill and tackle, or flip the field in the return game, giving him multiple ways to leave his mark before the final whistle. That versatility was on full display during his sophomore season when Cam carried the ball 26 times for 251 yards, caught 13 passes for another 124 yards, and scored 7 touchdowns while also taking a kickoff return to the house. His defensive numbers showed an entirely different side of his game as he piled up 45 tackles with 30 coming solo, broke up 10 passes, recovered a fumble, and led the Roanoke River 1A/2A Conference with 4 interceptions.
