Jonah is a lightning bolt of creativity wrapped in a calm, confident presence. He plays with a fearless swagger, carving up defenses with crafty footwork, sick handles, and a smooth shooting touch that can heat up in an instant. He reads the floor like a savvy veteran, threading dimes through impossible gaps and keeping the offense humming with a rhythm only true floor commanders possess. His defensive energy is relentless, his mindset is wired for competition, and his IQ fuels everything he does. Jonah brings spark, fire, and direction from the moment he touches the ball, lighting up the court with a game built on intensity, imagination, and skill.
This past year, Jonah exploded onto the AAU varsity scene with Kentucky Supreme, averaging 22.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 3.7 steals, 1.1 blocks, while shooting 48.8 percent from the field, a blistering 43.7 percent from deep, and 73 percent at the line. Those numbers speak loud and clear. They paint the picture of a young playmaker who checks every box and never takes a possession off. His physical growth has been just as electric. In only three months, he rocketed from benching 110 to 180, and squatting 200 to 305, transforming himself into a stronger, more punishing attacker at the rim. His off-the-dribble shooting has become a weapon teams must respect, his space creation has leveled up, and his ability to finish through pressure has taken a major leap. Jonah continues working to sharpen his off-hand, aiming to turn his growing offensive arsenal into something truly dangerous.
One of the biggest turning points in his journey has been the connection he built with Greg Keown. The two share a fire for winning, improving, and competing at the highest level. That partnership has elevated Jonah’s confidence, discipline, and approach to the game. This season, he’s looking to shock the region and show exactly how dangerous this Edmonson County group really is. They feel slept on. They feel underestimated. They feel ready. Jonah carries a chip on his shoulder that says this team is not to be ignored. And the matchup he’s already itching for is Daviess County. That game means something. That fire burns deep.
When someone talks trash to him or challenges one of his teammates, Jonah turns into a different player altogether. That flame switches on, and he plays with a killer instinct that refuses to back down. Adversity never rattles him. He takes a breath, says a quick prayer, and finds his calm. His faith resets his focus and prepares him to attack the next possession with purpose. Jonah believes deeply in the idea that if you play for the name on the front, everything else falls into place. That mindset shows up in how he leads, how he competes, and how he lifts the players around him.
I assess that Jonah brings a mix of energy, playmaking, shooting, toughness, and nonstop effort. His motor and IQ make him a difference-maker on both ends, and his ability to create scoring opportunities, fuel momentum, or shift the pace gives him a college-friendly skill set. Any program looking for a fiery guard who competes with heart and impacts every possession will find immediate value in Jonah.
With his rising strength, fast-growing finishing ability, and expanding shot creation, Jonah is shaping into a dynamic guard who will only keep rising. His competitive drive, discipline, and resilience position him for a major breakout as he progresses. Expect his confidence, leadership, and overall game to grow rapidly because Jonah plays with hunger, heart, and the mindset of a player who has no plans of slowing down. Stay tuned.
