Jamerson “Jamo” Green is a dynamic two-way threat who plays the game with polish, poise, and purpose. He is a long, skilled combo guard with scoring touch on all three levels, Jamo brings an elite mix of shooting, defensive versatility, and mental toughness every time he steps on the court. Offensively, he’s lethal spotting up or creating off the bounce, comfortable curling into pull-ups, raining catch-and-shoot threes, or getting to the rim with purpose. Defensively, he’s a problem. He guards 1 through 4 with length, anticipation, and intensity, racking up steals, blocks, and deflections while locking down opposing scorers. He’s equally confident playing on or off the ball, but his real edge comes from how he approaches the game: sharp IQ, humble heart, and a fire to compete and grow.
Though his high school stats from this past season in a supporting role—averaging 5 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and a little over half a steal per game. But his AAU numbers show the full picture of his breakout. Through April and May with Max Level Elite (Hicks), Jamo is averaging 17 points, 5 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, and 2.3 steals per game, shooting 63% from two and 38% from three. That big improvement came from his growth in assertiveness on offense, learning to hunt for his shot and create space with more purpose, and on defense, taking pride in guarding the best player and leading vocally. He’s studying pick-and-roll reads, tightening his handles, and focusing on decision-making in high-pressure situations. His offseason mission is to elevate his conditioning and sharpen every tool to make sure fatigue never affects his impact.
Jamo’s AAU goals reflect his mindset is locked in on development first, and trusting that exposure and wins will follow. He’s especially excited for the P32 live period events, knowing each tournament is a shot to prove himself against elite competition. Next season, he’s looking to step into a true leadership role for Mansfield Legacy, becoming the example others can follow and pushing his team toward a state championship run. What fuels him most is the heat of competition, when the gym is loud, the game is tight, and his number gets called, he lives for those moments.
When facing adversity, Jamo leans into faith and control. He stays grounded by focusing on effort, attitude, and preparation, never allowing temporary setbacks to rattle his belief. His spiritual foundation runs deep, built by his family, and strengthened during his time at Pantego Christian Academy before transitioning to the Texas 6A level. It wasn’t an easy change, but it was one he embraced head-on. Through every challenge, he holds tight to 2 Timothy 1:7: “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.”
I assess that Jamo brings next-level maturity, elite defensive instincts, and a rising offensive package to the court. His size, shot-making, and leadership qualities make him a high-value guard who can anchor both ends and elevate a locker room with his presence and preparation.
With continued growth in ball-handling and decision-making, Jamo is on the verge of becoming a dominant two-way guard. His faith, fire, and fearless approach give him everything he needs to emerge as one of Texas’ most complete players in the 2026 class. College programs looking for a driven, team-first guard with big upside should lock in now. Stay tuned for a monster season ahead.
