What fuels Josue's fire is seeing his team step up on defense or make a critical defensive stop himself. It’s the energy from those moments that drives him to give his all on every possession. Josue handles adversity by staying calm and focused, evaluating the situation, and figuring out what needs to be done to secure a win or solve the problem.
Josue’s biggest improvement this season has been his ability to read the floor and adjust his game, stepping into the role of a more composed point guard. Last season, he went from being one of the least impactful players to a leader on his team, a testament to his growth and drive. Josuè's best piece of advice has always been simple but powerful: play hard. Whether he's working on his ball handling or improving his shooting, Josue knows what it takes to reach the next level. When it comes to balancing his on-court drive with his personal life, spending time with family and friends and playing with his dogs keeps him grounded.
