Dominic has built his game around versatility and impact. Some players specialize in one side of the ball, but Dominic takes pride in doing both. He can score from deep, attack off the bounce, finish through contact, create opportunities for teammates, and then turn around and make life difficult for opposing guards on the defensive end. That combination of offensive firepower and defensive intensity has helped turn him into one of the more exciting young guards to watch whenever he steps on the court.

His high school season was a lesson in maximizing opportunities and understanding what winning basketball requires. Playing with four seniors meant touches and opportunities were not always guaranteed, but Dominic never allowed that to affect his approach. Instead, he embraced his role and found ways to contribute wherever the team needed him. By the end of the season, he averaged 9.7 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals per game while helping his team make another run to the Class 7A State Championship Game in an effort to defend its title. Individually, one of the biggest accomplishments was earning 7A All-Region honors, recognition that reflected both his production and the respect he earned from those who watched him compete throughout the season.

The experience of playing on a team loaded with older players ended up becoming one of the greatest learning opportunities of his career. It taught him patience, sacrifice, and the importance of understanding that success is not always measured by stats alone. Dominic learned that embracing the role a team needs can actually prepare a player for bigger opportunities down the road. That lesson has already started paying off as his game continues to expand.

If there were any doubts about what he could do when given more freedom offensively, the live period quickly erased them. Dominic had one of the strongest performances of the weekend, opening with 26 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals before following it up with 18 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. The numbers were impressive, but what mattered most to him was proving that competition level does not change his approach. Whether he is playing against local talent or nationally ranked players, his expectation remains the same. Produce, compete, and impact winning. He wanted coaches to see a player capable of performing at an elite level on both sides of the ball, and by the end of the weekend he had done exactly that.

One of the biggest reasons for his continued improvement has been the development of his basketball IQ. While his athleticism, scoring ability, and defensive instincts often grab attention first, Dominic believes the biggest growth in his game has come mentally. He sees the floor better, processes situations faster, and has become more comfortable making the correct reads rather than forcing plays. The game has slowed down for him, and that understanding allows his natural talent to shine even brighter.

AAU basketball has provided another stage for him to showcase that growth. Playing with Next Page Force out of Little Rock, Arkansas, Dominic has enjoyed a strong season while serving as the team's leading scorer. He is shooting better than 50 percent from the field, over 40 percent from three-point range, and over 80 percent from the free throw line. Those numbers reflect a guard who scores efficiently while still impacting the game in other ways. His ability to score from all three levels, create offense, and defend multiple positions gives his team flexibility and helps them compete against anyone they face.

The biggest challenge of his basketball journey was learning to fully buy into the role his team needed him to play. For many talented players, accepting a smaller role can be difficult. Dominic chose to view it differently. Instead of seeing limitations, he saw preparation. He understood that basketball careers are filled with different responsibilities and expectations, and learning how to thrive in various roles would ultimately make him a better player. That maturity has become one of the strongest parts of his overall game.

When it comes to facing highly regarded opponents or players receiving a lot of attention, Dominic welcomes the opportunity. Those matchups don't create pressure for him. They create excitement. He has spent his entire basketball life competing against strong competition, and he believes those games bring out the best version of himself.
