Camden has the kind of game that creates problems no matter who is standing across from him. Guards struggle with his size and strength while bigger defenders often have trouble staying in front of him. That combination has helped turn Camden into a versatile weapon who can score from all three levels, protect the rim, and impact the game on both ends of the floor. Whether he is making shots, attacking the basket, or making plays around the rim, Camden has developed into a player capable of filling up the stat sheet while helping his team win.

The past season was a major step forward in his development. What started as a battle to earn a starting spot quickly turned into a breakout year built on confidence, hard work, and taking advantage of opportunities. Camden averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds per game while shooting 45 percent from the field and earning First Team All-District honors along with District Newcomer of the Year. More importantly, he proved to himself that he belonged. As the season progressed, his confidence continued to grow and so did his impact on the floor. Going from fighting for minutes to becoming one of the key pieces on his team became one of the biggest takeaways from the entire year.

That momentum has carried right into AAU basketball with Union 16U NXT Pro. Camden has continued to play some of his best basketball, averaging around 15 points and 7 rebounds per game. The summer has given him another opportunity to showcase his versatility, scoring ability, and growing confidence against strong competition. Every event has provided another chance to build on what he accomplished during the school season while continuing to show that his game translates against high-level competition.

One of the biggest improvements in Camden's game has been his finishing around the basket. In the past, there may have been moments where he looked to avoid contact or settle for other options. Those days are gone. His confidence attacking the rim has taken a huge leap, and he now embraces opportunities to finish strong in traffic. That aggressive mindset has added another layer to his offensive game and made him even tougher to defend because opponents have to respect him both inside and outside.

Every player faces challenges, and one of the biggest lessons Camden learned came from not shooting enough. Looking back, he realized there were times when he passed up shots instead of trusting the work he had put in. That experience helped him understand something important. Great players believe in their preparation and trust themselves when opportunities arise. The lesson was simple but powerful. When the shot is there, take it with confidence.

That confidence is built long before game day arrives. Behind the scenes, Camden spends countless hours getting shots up and elevating his game. Repetition has become a major part of his routine because he knows confidence comes from preparation. The work that nobody sees is what allows him to step on the floor ready for big moments when they come.

When highly regarded players line up across from him, Camden doesn't back away from the challenge. In fact, he welcomes it. Those matchups become opportunities to prove he belongs right there with the best players on the floor. Rather than feeling intimidated, he uses those moments as motivation. He wants to compete, test himself, and show exactly what he can do against top competition. That mindset speaks volumes about his confidence and competitive spirit.

Looking ahead, Camden has his eyes set on earning college interest and continuing to elevate his game. The goal is not only to put up numbers but to keep developing into the best player he can become. With the confidence he gained this past year and the momentum he has carried into AAU basketball, there is plenty of reason to believe his best basketball is still ahead of him.

Coaches can expect energy, production, and a player who is not afraid to put the ball in the basket. Most importantly, they can expect a player who continues to get better and is determined to keep proving himself every time he steps between the lines.

I assess that Camden's combination of size, scoring ability, and versatility makes him a difficult matchup for most opponents. He can stretch defenses, attack the basket, rebound, and protect the rim while impacting the game on both ends of the floor. His growing confidence and improved finishing ability have helped elevate his game and given him more ways to create offense.

Camden is a rising star whose game continues moving in the right direction. He has already shown he can produce at the high school level and has carried that success into AAU basketball. His ability to score from all three levels, compete against good competition, and continue improving makes him a high-level prospect moving forward.
