Some players score points. Some players make teammates better. Some players lock in defensively and make life miserable for opposing guards. Evan has been finding ways to do it all at once. The George Bush standout continues turning heads because of the way he combines elite shooting, toughness, IQ, leadership, and nonstop energy into a complete game that impacts winning every single night.

Evan describes himself as a hardworking player who is willing to do whatever it takes to win. Every time he steps on the floor, he brings high basketball IQ, efficient scoring, gritty defense, and a mindset focused on making the players around him better. That balance is a major reason his game keeps standing out because he doesn’t play selfish basketball. He understands how to control the flow of the game while still putting constant pressure on defenses offensively.

This past high school season became a massive statement for him. Evan averaged 20.2 points per game while shooting an incredibly efficient 50% from the field and a blistering 45% from deep. Defenders struggled all season trying to slow him down because he consistently punished mistakes while staying under control offensively. Whether it was catch-and-shoot opportunities, creating space for his jumper, or making the right read once defenses collapsed, Evan kept producing at a high level night after night.

The accomplishments followed naturally after that kind of season. Evan earned 21-6A Offensive MVP honors, joined the 1000-point club, collected 1st Team All-District recognition, earned Academic All-District honors, and served as team captain. Those achievements say a lot about the type of player he is because they reflect production, leadership, and consistency all at the same time.

But when looking back on the year, the moments that meant the most to Evan weren’t just awards or stats. The team bonding experiences and relationships built throughout the season stood out most because that connection helped shape the chemistry and trust inside the program.

One of the biggest improvements in Evan’s game from high school season into AAU has been on the defensive end. He’s become much more aggressive at making opposing ball handlers uncomfortable, forcing turnovers, and disrupting offensive rhythm. That added defensive intensity has elevated his overall game because now he’s impacting both ends of the floor at an even higher level.

Now running with TMA 2027 on the Puma Circuit, Evan has continued building momentum throughout the spring and summer against some of the best competition in the country. TMA has established itself as one of the stronger teams on the circuit, and Evan’s ability to contribute within that environment continues to prove his game translates at a high level.

During live period, his mission is simple. He wants to prove he belongs among the top players competing on the Puma Circuit. That confidence doesn’t come from arrogance either. It comes from preparation, work ethic, and an understanding of exactly how much time he’s invested in developing his game.

One area that’s been especially clicking during AAU season has been his playmaking. Evan has done an outstanding job creating opportunities for teammates while continuing to score efficiently himself. That ability to balance scoring with facilitation makes him even tougher to guard because defenses can’t key in on only one aspect of his game.

Off the floor, Evan attacks academics with the exact same discipline he brings to basketball. Carrying a perfect 4.0 GPA while balancing elite-level basketball speaks volumes about his focus and maturity. His long-term goals are centered around earning both academic and athletic scholarship opportunities while continuing to compete at the highest level possible.

When college coaches pull up to watch Evan, they’re going to see a high-motor guard who never takes a play off. They’re going to see high IQ basketball, efficient scoring, gritty defense, unselfish playmaking, and somebody who constantly plays the game the right way. Most importantly, they’re going to see a player whose mentality, discipline, and all-around impact continue separating him more every time he steps on the floor.

I assess that Evan is a highly efficient offensive weapon with strong basketball IQ, perimeter shooting, and the ability to impact the game as both a scorer and facilitator. His shooting percentages immediately stand out, but his defensive improvement and overall toughness have added another important layer to his game.

Evan’s combination of production, efficiency, leadership, and academics makes him extremely attractive long-term. Players capable of scoring efficiently while defending, facilitating, and maintaining elite academics always gain attention from college programs. As his defensive pressure and overall playmaking continue evolving, Evan has the tools to become a highly productive college guard capable of helping programs win in multiple ways. Buckle up, y'all.
