Jake is a fearless shooter with a rhythm and confidence that can flip a game in seconds. He steps onto the court with a steady presence that stretches the entire defense. His unlimited range and his smooth release carries a calm but destructive touch that punishes even the slightest hesitation from a defender. Jake is more than a marksman, though. His energy on defense, his willingness to compete on every possession, and his natural leadership give him an edge that never fades. He brings stability, hunger, and direction to a team simply by how hard he plays and how locked in he stays.

Averaging 12.4 points per game last season while connecting on 46% from three, which placed him second in Wisconsin D3, Jake showcased a mix of consistency and confidence. His biggest improvement came in his ability to stay steady through the entire season, eliminating streakiness and proving he could produce at a high level every night. That consistency forced teams to rush him on the perimeter, and because of that pressure, he has focused on developing his driving game. Jake has spent time elevating his ability to get into the lane, finish with contact, and draw fouls, transforming him into a more complete scoring threat. Even without an AAU season, his focus never shifted. He has been locked in on preparing for a senior year that he wants to define with leadership, winning, and proving every doubter wrong. He feeds off the moments when he senses an opponent losing hope. That feeling drives him, pushing him to increase his intensity, trust his preparation, and drown out everything except the next possession.

Jake’s mindset is built on accountability and team structure. He carries with him a message from his coaches that reminds him a team succeeds only when every person carries their weight. That belief is also how he handles adversity. When things get difficult, he centers himself, blocks out the distractions, and focuses on making the next right play. Off the court, he enjoys hanging out with friends and watching movies, but even in those moments, he maintains the fire to compete and the drive to improve. He enters his final year with hunger, focus, and a determination to leave no doubt about who he is as a player and a leader.

I assess that Jake brings immediate value to a college program through his ability to change spacing, pace, and momentum. His outside shooting forces opponents to extend their defense, which opens the floor for drives, post touches, and secondary actions. His competitive effort and willingness to lead by example provide stability to any lineup he joins. A college staff searching for a skilled shooter with mental toughness and natural leadership will find a trustworthy and impactful asset in Jake.

Jake’s potential continues to rise as he grows into a more complete scorer. His evolving ability to attack downhill and create contact, combined with his already elite shooting touch, positions him to become a major threat at the next level. His poise, work ethic, and intensity suggest he will keep elevating his game each season. Moving forward, Jake is poised to be a guard who can impact winning through shot making, composure, leadership, and the ability to shift the energy of a game the moment he catches fire.
