Maricopa HS, AZ

Micah brings a smooth, confident presence every time he touches the floor. His game flows with a natural rhythm, letting him dictate pace, control tempo, and keep defenders guessing. He finishes with equal strength on both sides of the rim, using touch, balance, and patience to break down defenses at his own speed. What separates Micah is his ability to slow things down when the moment calls for it, then explode through gaps when lanes open. Coaches see a young guard who can execute on both ends, compete with grit, and bring steady energy that never fades. He plays with poise, confidence, and a fire that lights up the gym the moment people start rooting for him.

This past season gave Micah the breakthrough he needed. His biggest jump came from becoming comfortable going left, creating plays off the dribble, and trusting his reads. He learned when to shoot, when to slow things down, and when to take over, which led him to his first 30-point performance. Now, the offseason was all about strength in the weight room, tightening his handle, and turning his three-point shot into a consistent weapon. His focus for this year is to prove everything he knows he can do and play with full confidence. His motivation comes from the people cheering him on and from using adversity as fuel to elevate higher every time.

The rivalry he’s itching for most is Mountain Pointe, and he’s ready for that challenge. Micah is looking forward to stepping into varsity action and battling the big dawgs, showing he belongs from the opening tip. His coaches can expect full effort, execution, and a player who competes until the whistle stops play. Off the court, he enjoys time with family and friends and lifting others up. He holds early interest from Arizona Christian University and San Francisco State, and as he keeps developing, those opportunities should only continue to grow.

I assess that Micah’s control of pace, dual side finishing, and ability to create plays give him the tools to impact a college program as a steady guard who brings stability and energy to the floor. His poise and ability to read the game help him fit into multiple systems, and his commitment to playing hard every possession makes him a reliable presence for any staff.

As Micah adds strength, sharpens his handle, and stretches his shooting range, he is moving toward becoming a confident, versatile guard ready to produce against higher-level talent. Expect him to rise quickly as he steps into varsity roles, embraces tougher competition, and keeps building the all-around foundation that will shape his long-term potential. Stay tuned for a statement season ahead.
