Corinth Holders HS, NC

Zach is a tall, fast, and shifty guard who can control the floor with his creativity and length. His handles are sick, his release is lightning quick, and his confidence as a scorer makes him dangerous from anywhere on the court. Whether he’s rising over defenders, attacking the rim, or dropping dimes with perfect timing, Zach mixes athleticism with a high basketball IQ in a way that sets him apart. His ability to use his length to finish through contact and rebound over smaller guards gives him a distinct edge, while his vision and passing turn every possession into an opportunity.

Averaging 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists last season, Zach showcased his versatility and unselfish play. He’s working hard this offseason to become a more consistent three-point shooter and an even better defender, pushing himself to be a complete two-way threat. What drives him most is competition, the tighter the game, the more he locks in, embracing the challenge and looking to dominate his matchup. His focus for this year is to grow as a leader, captain his team with confidence, and elevate the entire Corinth Holders program to new heights.

Zach’s journey hasn’t been without adversity. After being sidelined due to eye surgery to treat keratoconus, the same condition Steph Curry overcame, he’s fought his way back with determination and resilience. He knows he’s been overlooked, but that only fuels him more. Every time he steps on the court, he’s a reminder that heart and work ethic can outshine any setback.

Off the court, Zach stays grounded through his humility and kind nature. He values time with family and his dogs, and enjoys collecting trading cards, finding peace in life’s small moments. But once that ball is in his hands, it’s all business. He’s relentless in his approach, calm under pressure, and always looking for ways to improve.

I assess that Zach brings a complete skill set that makes him a valuable asset for any college program. His length, playmaking, and ability to create for both himself and others make him a matchup nightmare. He has the tools to thrive in a structured offense, defend multiple positions, and impact the game in transition or half-court settings.

Heading into his senior season, Zach’s ceiling continues to rise. Expect him to take command as a true leader, while showcasing a smoother and more confident offensive rhythm. With his improved shooting and renewed drive after recovery, he’s poised to turn heads and prove that being underrated has only made him hungrier to dominate. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
