Konnor comes flying into a game like a lightning strike you never saw coming. He moves with the energy of a guard and the power of a true paint enforcer. His hops are violent, with rim-rocking dunks that shake gyms. His shot blocking turns layups into regrets. He runs the floor with a fierce motor, gobbles up rebounds like candy, and drops explosive finishes that flip momentum instantly. With a solid middy, strong footwork, and a high IQ for a big, he becomes a matchup nightmare from the moment he checks in.
His strengths live all over the paint. Coming off pick and rolls, rolling downhill, and playing out of the post, he causes chaos. His playmaking from the big spot stands out, and his motor never stops. He has already added more patience in the post, more strength, and way better on ball defense from last season. He can now hit an open three and his attitude growth has unlocked an even better version of himself. That work showed up immediately in his season opener with 20 points several coming off big dunks plus 5 plus rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks to set the tone for the season.
Konnor averaged around 13.8 points and 9 to 10 rebounds last year, but he is looking to do way more now. He wants his post-game completely locked in, with a smooth catch-and-shoot three, and every post move mastered. Ball handling and free throws are on his list, too, as he keeps shaping his full bag. His biggest dream is returning to the state tournament with Westside circled on the calendar as the rival he is fired up to see. Coaches can expect relentless hustle, a kid who listens, and a worker who brings energy every time he hits the floor.
What fires him up the most is dunking on someone. When facing adversity, he lets it go, moves on to the next play, and keeps pushing. He lives in the gym putting in extra work, and off the court, he loves hanging out with his family and his girlfriend. He already holds interest from KCU, WVU Tech, Concord, and Fairmont State. His plan is locked in to play college basketball, and he wants to play for the program that truly believes in him.
I assess that Konnor’s size, bounce, energy, and paint presence give a college program a physical force that changes games instantly. His rebounding, shot blocking, pick-and-roll strength, and finishing ability create an impact frontcourt piece who brings toughness and production from day one. His motor and coachability make him even more valuable.
As he elevates his perimeter touches, expands his post game, and grows more confident with the ball, Konnor is building toward a breakout rise. His mindset, hunger, and athletic power point to a long runway of growth ahead. Expect his name to rise on radars quickly as he continues dominating the paint and evolving every part of his game. Stay tuned.
