Dominic is a shifty guard with a scorer’s mentality and the confidence to take over games. He is a lethal shooter from deep; he stretches defenses with his quick release and ability to hit shots under pressure. His scoring versatility extends beyond the arc, as he continues to build athleticism and develop finishing ability at the rim. With natural instincts to get buckets and the vision to create for teammates, Dominic plays with a fearless edge that makes him a constant problem for defenders. Coaches can expect hustle, defensive effort, and a competitor who thrives in the big moments.
This past season, Dominic averaged 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists per game, but his AAU production showed just how explosive he can be. Playing in the Prep Hoops Chi Town Tipoff, he went off for 32 points with 5 three-pointers in one game, followed by an 18-point performance in another where he went 7/10 from the free-throw line and hit three triples. His AAU goal was to average 15 points per game, and he surpassed it with an impressive 18 per game. His biggest improvement has been in his shiftiness, creating separation and getting his shot off faster, which makes him even more dangerous as a scorer.
Consistency has been a major focus for Dominic, and he’s embraced the grind of the offseason by elevating his ball-handling, expanding his shooting, and pushing himself in the gym to become more athletic. His mindset is all about controlling what he can control: his effort, energy, and belief in the shots he takes. The best coaching advice he’s ever received is, "Live with your decisions, trust your work, and never doubt the hours you’ve put in."
Now at Armada after transferring from Romeo, Dominic is ready to embrace the spotlight. He’s looking forward to helping his team win while proving himself to college coaches and earning the recognition his game deserves. He thrives when hitting tough shots or creating opportunities for teammates. When facing adversity, he locks into the next-play mentality, refusing to let missed shots shake his confidence. His game is fueled by hard work and the chase to get one percent better each day.
Off the court, Dominic values time with family and friends, keeping his circle close while chasing big dreams. That mix of passion, dedication, and character shows in the way he plays, a relentless competitor who refuses to back down and always gives his best.
I assess that Dominic’s combination of shot-making, shiftiness, and toughness makes him a scoring guard who can change games instantly. His ability to hit threes from anywhere, attack the basket, and involve teammates gives him a versatile offensive package, while his hustle and defensive effort round out his impact. He’s a player who can bring both production and energy to a program right away.
Dominic is entering a pivotal season with the chance to raise his stock even higher. With his scoring ability already proven on the AAU stage and his work ethic driving constant growth, he has the tools to draw serious attention. Expect him to continue elevating his game, leading his team, and establishing himself as a dangerous all-around guard. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
