Colt is a versatile shot-maker and floor-spacer who brings balance, poise, and fire to the court every time he hits the floor. He doesn’t need much space to make you pay, lethal from three, cold with the one-dribble middy pull-up, and punishing with floaters in traffic. But he’s more than a scorer. Colt creates for others, sees the floor with fierce instincts, and takes real pride in shutting down his opponent. He wants to be faster, more explosive, and more dominant at the rim, and he’s already putting in the work. What separates him is that dual threat: he can light you up with the ball in his hands, then pick you apart with his defense on the other end. He doesn’t need a spotlight, he makes his own.

This past year, Colt played for both JV and varsity at Great Crossing, using every opportunity to grow. He became a shot creator, elevating his handle and getting to his jumper with confidence. His biggest off-season focus is improving his defense, ball-handling under pressure, and finishing through contact. He’s attacking each rep with a chip on his shoulder, preparing to leave no doubt. With Kentucky Future Elite NXTPRO 15U, Colt's goal is nothing short of winning the NXTPRO Finals in Orlando and making sure he gets the exposure he’s earned. Whether he’s going up against top competition or locking in with his squad, Colt thrives in the heat of battle. What fires him up most is strapping in and locking up his man. Getting stops. Knocking down a three. And letting his work do the talking.

Off the court, Colt finds peace fishing and staying grounded in faith. He proudly gives all the glory to God and credits his journey to his relationship with Christ. Through adversity, he leans on prayer and stays locked in by trusting what he’s built. His favorite advice came from a coach who told him to play so hard no one would dare take him off the floor. That’s exactly how he lives; each possession and opportunity is played with urgency and hunger.

I assess that Colt is the type of player a college program can depend on in pressure moments. His smooth shot-making ability, mixed with his fierce defense, gives him two-way value that’s hard to ignore. Add in his growing playmaking and IQ, and you have a young guard ready to shine in structured systems built on trust and effort.

Expect Colt to keep evolving. As he continues to develop his explosiveness and tighten up his finishing, his impact will stretch beyond scoring. With his work ethic, love for defense, and deep faith keeping him steady, Colt has the mindset and motor to turn heads and become a name coaches won't forget. After playing on a state championship team, the winning culture suits him well, knowing they will push him to elevate his already strong skill set, and he will thrive and have a breakout season ahead as he will impact and be a huge part of a very good team pushing for another state title. Stay tuned.
