Connor plays like a spark plug that can flip a game in a heartbeat. He is that scrappy three-point sniper who only needs a sliver of space to turn a quiet possession into a burst of fire. Once he sees one shot drop, he heats up like a microwave, catching and firing in a flash, stretching the floor and forcing defenses to adjust. He brings strong ball handling, tight control, and a high-level feel for the game that lets him slide between scoring and setting the table with ease. Connor is a fierce competitor who attacks with energy, plays with purpose, and thinks the game at a high level. He rebounds his position, moves the ball, and makes the right read, all while bringing a relentless motor that his teammates feed off of. He is built to be the leader who sets the tone for his team from the opening tip.

The numbers already show how dangerous he has become. Through his first three games, he is putting up 13 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals, stuffing the stat sheet in every area. His shooting is still his calling card, but he has poured work into his ball handling and passing, and it shows in the way he now brings the ball up the floor with complete confidence. From last season to now, Connor has grown stronger physically and far more comfortable with the ball in his hands. With no seniors on this year’s roster and him being one of the only returning players from last year’s team, he has developed into a better leader who understands how much his voice and presence matter. His offseason was packed with high-level competition, battling against top players in AAU with Stars Basketball and jumping into open runs against college players. That experience sharpened his edge, raised his standard, and prepared him for a bigger role and a bigger platform this season. Earning an offer from Johnson University and drawing interest from other colleges is another sign that his work is being noticed.

Connor’s fire shows up in the way he embraces the moment. He circles rivalry battles with Beech and Hendersonville, and he is excited for the challenge of facing Liberty Creek twice this season. He expects this team to go at least to sub-state and wants to be the one pushing them toward that level every single night. His coaches count on him to be a leader by bringing high energy and giving everything he has on every possession. Connor hates losing and loves the rush of real competition. When facing adversity, he locks in, lifts the guys around him, and keeps the energy high while moving on to the next play. The best coaching advice he has taken to heart is to never be a good timer. Even when things are not going his way, he knows he has to stay positive, keep his body language strong, and refuse to drag others down. That mindset is what makes him dependable in tough spots and valuable in every locker room.

Faith runs right through the center of Connor’s story. What fires him up the most is the chance to compete with his brothers while having the opportunity from God to play the game he loves. He recognizes that every practice, every game, and every moment on the floor is a gift. Off the court, he enjoys going to church, staying grounded, and keeping his heart in the right place as he chases his dreams. He wants his effort and attitude to reflect the gratitude he has for the doors God is opening in his life.

Off the court, Connor is a family and friends kid. He loves hanging out, listening to music, watching sports, and enjoying time with the people closest to him. That balance keeps him relaxed, focused, and ready when it is time to flip the switch back into competitor mode. With one college offer in hand and conversations picking up with other programs, he is stepping into a season where everything he has worked for can be put on full display.

His ability to space the floor as a reliable three-point threat while also handling the ball and making smart passes gives coaches real flexibility with lineups and rotations. He competes on the boards, defends with effort, and sets a strong example with his work ethic and attitude.
