Gage plays the game with an electric combination of length, confidence, and effortless scoring ability that demands attention the moment he steps on the floor. As an athletic guard with a long wingspan and explosive finishing power, he attacks in transition with speed, flies into dunks with ease, and rains deep shots with smooth, confident rhythm. His shooting is lethal, his energy is contagious, and his defensive swagger elevates his impact on both ends. Gage thrives in big moments, embraces matchups with the opponent’s best player, and brings intensity that fuels his entire team. What separates him is his ability to score at a high level while defending with purpose, hustling for rebounds outside his area, and playing with a mature, winning mindset every possession.
Last season's numbers tell a powerful story. Through 31 games, he averaged 18.2 points, scored 502 total points, and hit 96 threes at a blistering 45 percent. He added 170 rebounds, 55 assists, and 27 steals, showcasing the complete two-way presence he is becoming. His biggest improvement was his confidence and aggressiveness. Gage learned when to take over, how to stay composed in pressure moments, and how to trust the hours of work he put in. His defensive focus rose, anchoring his goal to shut down whoever he is matched against. This offseason, he is working to tighten his handles, grow stronger through contact, and become more consistent creating off the bounce. His goal is to build himself into a guard who controls the game from end to end and makes everyone around him better.
What impacted him most this season was realizing the influence he has on a game. Whether it is a deep three, a big defensive stop, or a momentum-shifting dunk, Gage learned how much he can swing the energy for his team. He embraces rivalry matchups, packed gyms, and nights when the best players need to step forward. His coaches can expect intensity, leadership, and a commitment to winning that never wavers. He shoots with confidence, finishes strong, defends with pride, and keeps his team connected by how he plays and how he communicates. Next season, he is focused on taking another leap across every part of his game, becoming the player his team leans on during the biggest moments.
Big plays fuel Gage. Deep threes that send the crowd into a roar, explosive dunks that flip momentum, and defensive stands that silence the gym are what ignite him. When facing adversity, he stays grounded, resets, and responds with effort. He encourages teammates, keeps his mind clear, and stays focused on the next possession. The best coaching advice he carries is hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard. He lives by that every day.
Gage’s foundation comes from his relationship with Jesus Christ. When adversity hits or pressure rises, he leans on his faith and remembers who God says he is. He puts God first in everything he does, trusting that every opportunity, every breakthrough, and every challenge has purpose. His goal is not simply to succeed on the court but to honor God with his gifts and let Him direct every step of the journey.
Off the court, Gage stays grounded in family, church, and work. He spends time with loved ones, stays in the gym, and stays active in his church community. He uses his gifts the right way and keeps his focus on the bigger picture. He is currently on the BCAT Watchlist for 2025 and is working every day toward earning the opportunity to play college basketball. He is keeping all options open and trusting God’s timing for whatever comes next.
I assess that Gage’s combination of length, shooting touch, and defensive intensity gives a college program a valuable two-way guard who can stretch the floor, impact pace, and raise the competitive edge of a lineup. His ability to score at volume while guarding top players will elevate practices and raise game-day production. Programs will appreciate his maturity, effort, and willingness to compete in every phase of the game.
Gage is rising fast with even more room to grow. As he sharpens his handles, builds strength, and expands his off-the-dribble creation, he will evolve into a complete scoring threat with the ability to take over games. His balanced approach, hunger to improve, and steady leadership set the stage for a breakout future. Expect him to continue rising as one of the most impactful players in his class with the potential to thrive at the next level.
