Hayden is a problem on the wing. A true three-level scorer with size, strength, and confidence, he brings constant pressure whether he is attacking downhill, working inside, or stepping into open looks from the perimeter. He plays with purpose and edge, handling the ball comfortably in the open floor while seeing the game with the IQ to keep teammates involved. Defensively, his length and physicality allow him to guard multiple positions, and he takes pride in making life difficult on that end. He is not just filling a role; he is impacting every possession with force.
After missing last season due to an ACL injury, Hayden has come back hungry and aggressive, playing like someone who understands how quickly the game can be taken away. This season, he is averaging 15.3 points and 9.6 rebounds per game while shooting 45% from the field, consistently showing that his presence changes the tone of the game. His most recent region matchup was a statement performance, scoring 26 points and gobbling up 12 rebounds. That performance was built on effort, toughness, and attacking the game head-on, not settling, not fading, just going to work.
The biggest improvement in his game shows up in how he attacks the rim and plays underneath with strength and confidence. He finishes through contact, mixes it up on the boards, and holds his ground defensively. Those improvements are a direct reflection of how he handles adversity. Hayden does not shy away from it but attacks it, puts in the work, and comes back stronger. Winning is what fuels him, and that competitive edge shows every time the ball is tipped.
His goals are driven by impact. To earn All-region honors, pushing his team to state, and averaging a double-double, which are all within reach because of how consistently he shows up. Hayden plays like someone who understands that success is earned through effort, toughness, and commitment to the grind.
I assess that Hayden’s size, versatility, and physical style give a college program a dependable wing who can score in multiple ways and control the boards. His willingness to defend and compete possession after possession makes him a valuable piece for teams that value toughness and winning habits.
Moving forward, expect Hayden to continue building momentum as his confidence grows and his game keeps expanding. With his edge, work ethic, and hunger to win, he is positioned to keep stacking strong performances and forcing people to take notice. Stay tuned.
