6'3, Class of 2028

Conroe HS, TX

Judd plays the game with an aggressive mindset that impacts both ends of the floor. He takes pride in attacking the basket, creating opportunities for his teammates, and making the right decisions rather than forcing bad shots. His ability to score, facilitate, defend, and rebound allows him to affect the game in several different ways every time he steps onto the court. That all-around style has helped him become a dynamic guard who understands that winning basketball is about much more than just scoring. Every possession is another chance to make a play that helps his team win.

Judd's sophomore season at Conroe was an important step in his development. After being the only freshman on the varsity team the year before, he stepped into a starting role and averaged 8.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. More than anything, he focused on making the players around him better while helping lead his team into the playoffs. Reaching the postseason became one of his biggest accomplishments because it reflected the growth of both the team and his own game. Those experiences gave him valuable confidence while preparing him for an even bigger summer.

That growth showed up immediately during AAU with Northside Elite. Judd raised his production to 14 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game while shooting a blistering 42 percent from three-point range. His jump in production didn't happen by accident. It came from growing confidence, stronger leadership, and a work ethic that continued paying off every time he stepped onto the floor. As his confidence increased, so did his willingness to make plays, attack opportunities, and trust the work he had put in behind the scenes.

The biggest improvement Judd made this year came from simply putting in the work and seeing those hours translate directly into game results. Watching his numbers nearly double from the high school season to AAU confirmed that his commitment was making a difference. That improvement has taken his game to another level because he now plays with greater confidence while continuing to impact the game as both a scorer and playmaker.

The biggest adversity Judd faced came after breaking his finger, forcing him to work through both injury and frustration. The setback challenged him physically, but it also taught him an important lesson about controlling his attitude when things don't go his way. Instead of allowing difficult moments to affect the rest of his game, he has worked on staying composed, responding the right way, and continuing to compete regardless of the circumstances. That growth has made him mentally stronger while helping him become a better teammate and leader.

The work behind the scenes leaves very little room for excuses. Judd attacks every day with three workouts, beginning at 5:00 in the morning before returning for another workout at 9:00 at night while also attending SAC camp during the day. That demanding schedule reflects the commitment he has made to improving every part of his game. While many people only see the results on game day, the foundation is built long before anyone walks into the gym.

When Judd faces highly ranked or well-known players, he welcomes the challenge instead of avoiding it. He takes pride in guarding the opposing team's best player and making them earn everything they get throughout the game. That competitive mindset pushes him to raise his own level while proving he belongs in those matchups. His goals are to average 20 points per game, earn First Team All-District honors, and continue building toward the next level of his basketball journey.

Every time Judd steps onto the floor, coaches can expect nonstop hustle, relentless rebounding, strong floor leadership, and an unselfish approach to the game. He brings energy, competes on every possession, and understands how to make the players around him better. As he heads into the upcoming season with growing confidence and momentum from a breakout summer, expect Judd to continue elevating every part of his game while becoming one of the key leaders for Conroe.

I assess that Judd is a versatile guard who brings value on both ends of the floor through his scoring, playmaking, defense, and energy. His aggressive mentality, improved shooting, and willingness to defend top players allow him to impact games in many different ways. His steady development as both a leader and a decision-maker continues to make him a more complete player.

Judd continues to rise because his improvement is backed by an outstanding work ethic and a commitment to constant growth. His confidence, expanded offensive game, and determination to embrace difficult matchups have helped separate him from where he was a year ago. With his relentless approach and team-first mentality, Judd has positioned himself for an exciting junior season and continued success beyond it. Stay tuned.
