Charlie is the definition of a versatile two-way force. With a strong, fearless drive to the basket and a lethal middy, he is a constant scoring threat that defenses must respect. His ability to hit catch-and-shoot rain-making threes with efficiency stretches the floor, while his size and strength allow him to guard multiple positions and finish through contact. He thrives in any role, guard or wing. and has the basketball IQ and poise to make the right plays under pressure. What separates him most is his intensity on defense and hustle on both ends; no possession is wasted, and his motor keeps him locked in as a momentum-shifting presence.

As a sophomore, Charlie delivered a standout varsity season, averaging 14.3 points, 5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game while shooting a blistering 47.2% from deep, 51.7% overall, and 73.4% at the line, finishing 5th in the SHAC in scoring. Those numbers earned him SHAC All-Conference, 1st Team All-Southwest Ohio District 16, and an All-Southwest District Honorable Mention. His biggest improvement has been tightening his ball-handling, a key focus to elevate his guard play even more heading into his junior year. Now, he’s locked in on becoming not only a go-to scorer but also a vocal leader who sets the tone for his team.

He took that fire into AAU, where he reached his goal of joining a higher-level program and will compete on the Made Hoops Challenger Circuit. With that platform, his next step is gaining exposure and earning college recruitment opportunities. He plays with poise offensively, using patience to exploit mismatches. On defense, he turns up the intensity, crashing boards, contesting shots, and making hustle plays that often decide close games.

Charlie’s fire is fueled by the big moments like a dunk, a clutch shot, or seeing a teammate take a charge and ignite the bench. Those flashes of energy drive him to another level, and his ability to handle adversity with composure keeps him steady when the game is intense and tight. The best advice he’s ever received is, "Stay confident". He enters this season with one goal, lead his team to reach its full potential and pursue greatness.

Off the court, he values time with his family on vacations or at home, and enjoys hanging out with friends. That balance off the court adds to the calmness he carries into competition, making him not just a scorer, but a true leader.

I assess that Charlie’s mix of efficiency, size, and versatility gives him the tools to thrive in any system. His midrange game is a consistent weapon, and along with his three-point shooting and defensive swagger, he is a reliable two-way piece who can elevate a program immediately. His work ethic, high motor, and commitment to hustling on every possession add winning intangibles that don’t show up in the box score.

Heading into his junior season, Charlie is ready to embrace leadership and push Fayetteville-Perry to new levels. With strong scoring ability, improved ball-handling, and the experience of producing under pressure, he is set to be the key to his team’s success. On the AAU stage and beyond, expect him to prove his game translates against top competition, putting him firmly on the radar as a prospect with the confidence, skill, and drive to excel at the next level. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
