Sasha is a fearless offensive force who lives to put pressure on a defense. A smooth scorer with a lethal, quick release, he can punish opponents from deep, carve lanes with crafty handles, and finish with floaters when size crowds the paint. His ability to stay composed with the ball while still involving teammates makes him more than just a scorer, but a complete offensive weapon. But what really sets Sasha apart is the swagger he brings defensively. Scrappy, disruptive, and relentless, he takes pride in making opposing players uncomfortable and disrupting their sets. Every possession with him on the floor is played at an up-tempo, fueled by constant energy and a contagious hunger to win.
Sasha averaged 17 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. He also led the league in scoring, proving that the hours of extra work and late-night shooting sessions were paying off in a big way. His confidence skyrocketed this season, trusting in his preparation and embracing a short memory that allowed him to bounce back instantly from misses. That mindset helped him score more efficiently and gain more minutes, while also pushing him to be more physical, taking defenders to the rim, absorbing contact, and drawing fouls. Along the way, he scored a highlight 28-point game, adding 3 assists and 3 rebounds, capped off by a game-winner in the Australia Rep League.
Sasha’s offseason goals are to expand his midrange pull-up, become more consistent in getting to his spots, and elevate his conditioning and athleticism. With strong handles and court vision, he is already able to dissect defenses, but he’s focused on making his game smoother, playing at his own tempo against aggressive defenders, and forcing defenses to key in on him so that teammates can thrive. What fires him up most is when his team goes on a big run; the momentum shift gives him a rush and makes him want it even more.
That energy is exactly what drives his pursuit of team wins above all else.
For Sasha, adversity is an opportunity rather than a setback. Whether it’s a cold shooting stretch or facing a big deficit, he trusts his preparation, knowing he’s put in the work to respond when things get tough. He values the challenge, believing it’s when true growth reveals itself. The best coaching advice he’s ever received was to have a “goldfish memory, to shoot every shot like he made the last ten, to never let one miss dictate his confidence." That mindset transformed him into a player with unwavering belief in his shot and his ability to control a game.
Off the court, Sasha’s love for basketball fuels everything he does. He devotes himself fully to the grind, pouring passion into every workout and practice session. He also enjoys working out, playing card games, and spending time with friends.
I assess that Sasha’s scoring ability, combined with his disruptive defensive mindset, makes him a valuable piece for any college program. His consistency as a shooter, ability to create for teammates, and willingness to take contact at the rim all project well to the next level. With his motor and constant energy, he offers the type of presence that can elevate a team’s pace and culture.
Moving forward, Sasha has the tools to become a complete game-changer. As his midrange pull-up and conditioning improve, expect him to control games with even greater command. His league-leading scoring proves he can be “the guy,” and his fiery competitive spirit suggests he will continue to rise, delivering not just points, but wins. His potential to mix elite scoring with leadership and contagious energy makes him one to watch. Stay tuned.
