Vlad Oslavskyi

@voslavskyi2026

6’0, 155lbs, Class of 2026

Libertyville HS, IL

Vlad is a rising wide receiver whose game might not come with loud theatrics, but his impact is electric. What separates Vlad from every other player at his position is his fierce mental preparation, his relentless commitment to getting better, and a unique ability to read the game from the inside out. Coaches will get a focused competitor who brings consistent energy, total buy-in, and a willingness to sacrifice for the success of the team. He shows up ready, locked in, and committed to doing whatever it takes. He doesn’t beg for the spotlight. He earns it route, rep by rep, game by game. With his blend of intelligence, work ethic, and quiet fire, he brings a storm that brews beneath the surface, ready to strike at any moment.

Last season, Vlad stepped into a bigger role, helping Libertyville reach the second round of the playoffs while posting a dominant 8-1 regular season record. That success lit a fire in him, the taste of competing deep into November fueled his hunger to grow in every way. His biggest jump has come in football IQ: understanding coverages, spacing, and the rhythm of the offense like never before. His hands have improved, his consistency has grown, and his approach is sharper. This offseason, Vlad is locked into team lifting, film study, and position work with a goal, to be more dynamic, more versatile, and more dependable when the lights are brightest. His biggest motivator is the journey his team took last season and the unfinished business that still lingers. He’s not chasing personal stats. He’s chasing better.

Vlad describes himself as humble, and his game reflects that. He’s not flashy, but he’s dependable. He’s not loud, but he’s dangerous when the ball finds his hands. He thrives off the energy of his teammates and the stadium atmosphere. What drives him is seeing those around him succeed. Every game, he brings energy, discipline, and a team-first mindset that uplifts the whole locker room. Before each snap, he locks in with sharp visual scanning and mental reps, preparation that helps him stay one step ahead of defenders. And when facing adversity, he resets fast, stays positive, and reminds himself of why he started.

Vlad’s attitude toward the future is that division doesn’t matter. He just wants to keep playing the game he loves, whether it’s D1I or beyond. He believes that staying humble, outworking the noise, and chasing growth will always open doors. Coaches can expect a player who leads by example, brings his best to every practice and game, and never makes it about himself. He doesn’t take reps for granted. He just keeps showing up, locked in, coachable, and ready to do what others won’t.

As far as recruitment, he’s just getting started. With visits and camps lined up, including stops like Northwestern, he’s eager to show coaches what can’t be measured on paper: his discipline, his character, and his hunger. Some programs have started reaching out, and he’s been invited to Junior Days, giving him more fuel to keep grinding. He’s looking for a school with great people, a strong team culture, and a place where he can belong, grow, and compete on and off the field.

Vlad’s mental sharpness, work ethic, and steady improvement give him the foundation to thrive at the college level. While others flash and fade, Vlad builds brick by brick with consistency, coachability, and a relentless desire to improve. His presence in a locker room will elevate the standard, and his reliability will give coaches a steady weapon they can trust in crunch time.

Expect Vlad to continue developing into a fundamentally sound, team-centered receiver who can contribute in a variety of ways, such as as a reliable target, a smart route-runner, and a vocal leader by example. As his confidence, strength, and potential continue to rise, so will his value to a program. His ceiling is tied to his mindset, and that’s what makes his future so exciting.

This summer, Vlad is attacking his growth like never before, attending camps, earning exposure, and embracing every opportunity to show who he is as both a player and a teammate. He’s built for steady, long-term success. The game doesn’t always reward the loudest voice, sometimes it rewards the most consistent worker. Vlad Oslavskyi is that worker. And he’s just getting started. Stay tuned.
