Evan is the type of player every winning team needs, unshaken, reliable, and completely locked into his role. A fierce defender with great instincts and physical strength, he takes pride in doing the things that don’t always show up in the spotlight but absolutely win games. Whether it’s protecting the rim, boxing out, switching onto smaller guards, or grabbing a key rebound, Evan thrives as a blue-collar anchor. His feel for the game, effort, and selfless style make him a coach’s dream. He stretches the floor with a smooth three-point rainmaker and finishes through contact around the rim, but it's his defense, hustle, and IQ that define him. He doesn’t need hype to stand out, he does it through purpose and presence every time he takes the court.

As a full-time varsity player, Evan’s growth from sophomore to junior year was real. He averaged 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game while leading his team in rebounding, blocks, and points in the paint. He earned 2nd Team All-Conference honors, not because he chased stats, but because he consistently impacted games where it mattered most. His biggest improvement came in his confidence, especially in late-game situations where he embraced the moment and showed leadership. This offseason, his focus is on tightening his handles and continuing to evolve as a shooter. He’s also embracing a leadership role with UTC Fire National 17U, determined to push his team to play their best together while chasing that first college offer. Several programs have taken notice, and he’s been invited to camps and junior days.

Looking ahead, Evan is excited about the responsibility of being a senior captain. He’s driven not by flash but by being a role model, a teammate, and someone who makes everyone around him better. That’s what fuels him: doing the work that matters and doing it well.

Evan’s physical presence, defensive versatility, and team-first approach give him clear value at the next level. He doesn’t need the ball to be effective, he finds his impact in stops, boards, spacing the floor, and smart decisions. Coaches looking for a glue guy with toughness, IQ, and steady production will find real value in what Evan brings to the floor.

Evan may not chase headlines, but his role is crucial, and his growth is steady. As he continues to improve his handles and expand his offensive options, expect his overall game to rise with it. He’s just scratching the surface of what he can become, and his mindset ensures that he’ll keep getting better. His potential is real, and he’s earning every step forward. Stay tuned for a strong season ahead.
