Ethan brings an all-around game built on toughness, leadership, and doing the little things that help teams win. Every time he steps on the floor, he takes pride in being a vocal leader who keeps his teammates locked in while making winning plays that often go unnoticed. Defensively, he cuts off driving lanes, jumps passing lanes, takes charges, battles for loose balls, and refuses to back down from physical play. On the offensive end, he is light on his feet, attacks the paint with confidence, finishes through contact, and has the vision to throw dimes and create easy opportunities for those around him. His ability to impact the game without always needing the spotlight is one of the biggest reasons he continues to grow.

Ethan put together an impressive season, averaging 12.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game while shooting 50 percent from the field in 22 games. He also led Kentucky's 14th Region in rebounding during the regular season, proving he could control the boards despite facing bigger opponents on many nights. His best scoring performance came in a 28-point game that showcased his ability to take over offensively when his team needed it most. Following the high school season, he joined EKY Focus on the Connect League/AND1 Circuit, where he has continued to build his game against sp0l, finishing around the rim and using his athleticism to create scoring opportunities. At the same time, he has grown into a stronger defender who embraces difficult matchups while also becoming a better leader for his teammates. That combination has helped turn him into a more complete player capable of impacting both ends of the floor.

One of the biggest lessons Ethan learned this past season had nothing to do with shooting or scoring. Learning to control his emotions and maintain his composure became an important step in his development. Instead of letting frustration take over, he has worked to stay focused and channel that energy into positive plays that help his team. That maturity has made him a stronger competitor and an even better leader.

This offseason has been all about getting stronger and becoming a more complete scorer. Ethan has made the weight room a major priority while also spending countless hours improving his jump shot. His goals are to help EKY Focus win championships during AAU, continue getting his name in front of more coaches, and carry that momentum into another successful high school season.

The behind-the-scenes work reflects just how committed he is to improving. His days often begin in the weight room before moving into skill work with chairs and cones to sharpen his footwork and finishing. After attacking the basket, he puts up around 500 shots on the shooting machine from the mid-range and three-point line before heading home to recover. Many nights do not end there because he finds himself back in the garage for another lifting session. Those extra hours are a big reason his game continues moving in the right direction.

Ethan believes this season will look much different for both himself and his team. He expects them to surprise people, compete with a different attitude, and play with a fire that was built throughout the offseason. Personally, he wants fans to see the results of every hour he has invested and the confidence that comes from putting in the work long before game day.

Every coach can expect maximum effort every time Ethan steps on the floor. He takes pride in making plays, setting teammates up for success, sharing the basketball, defending with energy, rebounding, diving for loose balls, and creating extra possessions by getting into passing lanes. His goal is to leave everything he has on the court every single game while helping his team succeed in every possible way.

Above everything else, Ethan is thankful to God for the opportunities, the changes, and every lesson he has learned along the way. He believes every challenge has helped shape him into the player and person he is becoming, and his faith continues to give him perspective as he chases bigger goals.

I assess that Ethan's value comes from his complete approach to the game. He scores efficiently, attacks the paint with confidence, rebounds at a high level, creates for teammates, and embraces the defensive side of the floor. His leadership, toughness, and willingness to handle the little things give him qualities that every winning team needs.

Ethan is developing into a solid two-way player whose impact goes far beyond the stat sheet. His commitment to improving physically, expanding his skill set, and growing as a leader continues to raise his ceiling.
