Arrington is an elite shooter who can absolutely make it rain from three point land. He has elite speed off the bounce, and just blows by defenders. He is brutal and ruthless from  mid-range. Last, but certainly not least, he has crafty finishes with fierce cuts to the rim. He possesses a high game IQ and is very slick with his passing.  He is a stingy perimeter defender, who thrives at pressuring the ball full court, disrupting his opponents offensive flow. He is the definition and embodiment of a “3 and D.”

This past season as a Freshman, he averaged 10 points per game while shooting 43% from 3 point land. He kept a close eye on the high level players and saw just how much harder he needed to work to evolve into becoming elite. 

Playing for the Stars Basketball Club UA Rise 2027, he had moments where he was red hot, and absolutely killing defenders. Several times, he sealed the game by hitting a clutch three. He also blanketed his opponents on D. I’ve watched his game grow and watched him become a leader, even as a younger player. Going into next season, he wants to show how much his ball handling has improved. He is working very hard to become stronger and faster.

He has a very strong faith, and he feels truly blessed that God gave him the opportunity to play the game he loves so much. When you take God given ability and mix that with work ethic, you are problems for anyone to have to play against!

When asked what a coach can expect from him, he said “A 3pt shooting threat who will always give 110% effort. I will bring high energy, and get my teammates involved.  I am extremely coachable, and I will outwork anyone.”

My personal assessment is that he will absolutely be playing college basketball. He has an intense passion for the game and he simply loves to compete against the best. I am very excited to watch this kid evolve and develop over the next few years. The sky is truly the limit for him. Remember where you heard it first!
