Kellen is a gritty playmaker with a smooth catch-and-shoot touch and a nonstop motor that fuels him from start to finish. He’s a fierce competitor with a tenacious defensive mindset, scrappy, fearless, and always ready to battle. He brings an unmatched energy to the court, never taking a possession off and constantly doing the little things that help his team win. He’s not the loudest guy in the room, but his game speaks loud and clear. Kellen works harder, thinks quicker, and fights longer than most, making him a true difference-maker.

As a shooter, Kellen is lights-out from deep when his feet are set. He spaces the floor with his shooting ability and never forces bad shots. He moves with purpose, understands timing, and plays unselfishly. What sets him apart is how well he reads the game, finding gaps, making the extra pass, and seeing plays before they happen. He’s also a skilled facilitator who racks up assists by keeping the ball moving and getting teammates involved.

This past season, Kellen averaged 12–14 points, 6–7 assists, and 3 rebounds per game. His biggest improvement came in finishing through contact, attacking the rim with more strength and confidence. He’s now working to add a lethal off-the-dribble three and continuing to tighten his ball-handling. He also wants to grow as a vocal leader and learn to see the game even quicker.

The most defining moment of his season came when he rediscovered his confidence. That spark reignited his love for the game and gave him a new edge every time he stepped on the floor. He hasn’t finalized his AAU plans yet, but he’s hungry for each opportunity to grow. Every tournament, every game, every challenge, he’s ready. What fires him up most is going on a run with his team and shifting the momentum. When facing adversity, he meets it head-on and pushes through.

Off the floor, Kellen is all about growth. Whether it’s lifting weights, working on his golf swing, or watching film, he’s committed to getting better in every way. His faith in God keeps him grounded, and his character shines just as much as his game. He’s the type of teammate you want in the trenches and the kind of young man any coach would be proud to lead.

I assess that Kellen brings toughness, leadership, and a winning mindset to the table. His ability to stretch the floor, run the show, and lock down opposing guards makes him a valuable piece in any backcourt. He plays hard, plays smart, and makes everyone around him better.

Kellen’s best basketball is still ahead of him. With his work ethic, mindset, and steady growth, he’s on track to become a standout guard in his class. As he keeps evolving his game and leaning into his leadership role, expect him to be a name that keeps climbing. Expect a breakout season ahead, understanding that Kellen is just scratching the surface of how good he can be. Stay tuned.
