Grayson steps onto the floor with electric energy and explosive intent, a dynamic creator who controls pace with fierce confidence. With the ball in his hands, he becomes a firestorm of speed, athleticism, and nasty ball handling that keeps defenders guessing every second. He is a three-level scorer with a silky smooth touch, a versatile two-way force who can shake a defender, rise into a jumper, power downhill for a finish, or flip into facilitator mode without losing rhythm. What separates Grayson is the combination of grit and grace. He is as tough as they come, yet smooth enough to flow through traffic like the game bends to him. Defensively, he is a tenacious DOGG with lockdown ability. Coaches know exactly what they are getting every time he touches the cour:t a competitor who attacks possessions with purpose and brings energy that lifts everyone around him.

This past season, Grayson averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists while joining the prestigious 1000-point club, a milestone that lit an even bigger fire inside him. His shooting was his biggest improvement this year, becoming a key part of his identity as he continues to expand his scoring range. He is focused on elevating the small things that complete a player, rebounding with force, playing strong defense, swiping steals, and evolving every piece of his game. His goals are wide open because he refuses to limit what he can become. He wants to keep getting better in every area, stay locked into his craft, and push himself to a new level of dominance.

Grayson is locked in for a big final season and already has an offer with hopes for more as he opens up his recruitment. He is fired up simply by stepping onto the court, fueled by pure love for the game. He is looking forward to district battles with Goodpasture, Friendship, Clarksville Academy, and Davidson Academy, and plans to lead with hustle, high energy, strong attitude, and the presence of a true floor general. He prides himself on being coachable, leading his team, raining threes, and keeping his composure no matter what the game throws at him. When facing adversity, he stays calm and reminds himself that effort and attitude are the only things he can control, a mindset that keeps him steady even when shots do not fall.

Off the court, Grayson’s heart belongs to his family. He treasures time with those who raised him and shaped him into the young man he is. His dad is his biggest role model, a steady guide and source of wisdom who taught him how to navigate life, adversity, and responsibility. That foundation fuels his maturity on the court and the character he carries everywhere he goes.

He has learned to handle hard the right way, a message given to him by Coach Chip Smith, who showed him how gritty this game really is and how toughness is built through the battles no one sees. Those lessons drive him into every practice, every game, and every challenge.

I assess that Grayson’s mix of shooting, creation, defensive toughness, and natural leadership gives a college program an immediate spark plug who can impact winning in multiple ways. His ability to score at all three levels while also facilitating makes him a problem for opposing schemes. His energy, response to adversity, and strong basketball IQ allow him to fit into any system while still elevating those around him.
