Dellon is a true point guard who brings command, edge, and nonstop energy every time he steps on the floor. He is the voice, the organizer, and the tone setter, constantly communicating, directing traffic, and keeping everyone locked in. He thrives on responsibility and embraces guarding anyone put in front of him, picking up full court, and making life uncomfortable with relentless pressure. Offensively, he is far more than a facilitator. Dellon can score at all three levels, attacking the basket with confidence, drawing contact, getting to the line, and raining threes when defenses sag. His playmaking comes naturally, finding teammates at the right time and in the right spots, always with the team-first mindset leading the way.
His growth as a point guard has been clear. Dellon has taken a major step forward in reading the floor, understanding pace, and leading with purpose. His biggest improvement has been becoming a better floor general, seeing plays develop earlier, and controlling the game with smarter decisions. Even with that growth, he stays hungry, focused on becoming a more efficient guard and continuing to develop his off-hand so that there are fewer answers for defenders. The game is slowing down for him, and his confidence is rising with every possession.
Dellon is currently averaging around 17 to 18 points, 6 assists, 1 steal, and 4 to 5 rebounds per game, production that reflects both his scoring ability and his willingness to do whatever the team needs. In his most recent game, he had a complete performance with 25 points, 5 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals, impacting the game on both ends and in every phase when the ball is in his hands, good things happen, whether it is a tough bucket, a timely dime, or a stop that sparks momentum.
Dellon's goals this season are to establish himself as one of the top guards in his class and be recognized as a true point guard who can lead, score, and control the game. Looking ahead, he is excited about the opportunity to attend school in the United States, gain exposure, and put himself in position to reach the next level. What fuels him most is when the team is clicking, scoring together, getting stops, and feeding off each other’s energy. He takes pride in winning possessions, not just points.
When facing adversity, Dellon does not force the issue. If shots are not falling, he shifts gears, locks in defensively, and helps his teammates score. He finds another way to impact the game, whether it is defense, communication, or playmaking, because winning always comes first. With no current interests or offers, he continues to play with a chip, letting his production, leadership, and consistency speak louder than anything else.
I assess that Dellon’s ability to lead, defend, and create offense makes him a valuable piece for any program. His willingness to guard full court, set the tone defensively, and still run the offense with confidence gives coaches a guard they can trust. His scoring versatility, paired with his playmaking, creates balance and keeps defenses guessing.
Dellon is gaining real momentum. As his efficiency and off-hand continue to improve, his impact will only grow. His mindset, leadership, and team-first approach point to a guard who is still scratching the surface. Expect continued growth, bigger production, and a point guard who keeps forcing people to take notice through his play. Stay tuned.
