"The Floor General’s Code: Calm, Clutch, and In Complete Control'

6’0, Class of 2026

Elkhorn Area HS, WI

Brian is the kind of point guard every coach dreams of who's steady, selfless, and always two steps ahead. A true floor general with an elite feel for the game, Brian runs the offense with poise and precision. He’s a pass-first leader who lives in the paint, breaking down defenses with consistent dribble penetration and delivering on-time dimes to open teammates. His middy is smooth and deadly from anywhere inside the arc, and he doesn’t shy away from pressure, whether it's handling full-court traps or stepping up to make a big-time play when it matters most. Brian sees the game clearly, values every possession, and brings a calm intensity that keeps his team composed.

This past season, Brian averaged 6 points, 4.5 assists, and 4 rebounds per game, making an impact without needing the spotlight. What changed the game for him and his team was the presence of a true point guard who could run the show and keep everything flowing. His biggest improvement has been in his three-point shooting. Now, he’s spending the offseason building consistency from deep while growing his leadership to fill the shoes left behind by graduating seniors. He’s hungry to take full control of the team and help lead Elkhorn Area to 15+ wins. Competing with Team Herro, Brian's goal is to pick up two or more college offers this season, and he’s especially looking forward to making waves at the Tune-Up in Appleton.

What fuels him is great defense, either playing it or facing it. He thrives in tight moments, lets the pressure fuel him, and uses adversity as fuel rather than fear. His mindset is grounded in the advice he lives by: "Play with no regrets." Off the court, Brian is a family-first kind of guy who enjoys kicking back with friends, dominating in 2K, and, as he puts it, “eating a lot.” But once he’s on the court, it’s all business.

Brian’s ability to control tempo, create for others, and break down defenses makes him an ideal lead guard for a program that values high-IQ decision-making and toughness. His passing instincts and calm under pressure can elevate a team’s offense.

As he continues to evolve as a shooter and vocal leader, Brian is positioning himself as a well-rounded floor general who will only become more dangerous. His blend of court awareness, feel, and competitiveness gives him the potential to shine in bigger roles and lead his team to new heights. Stay tuned.
