Dakota hits the court like a storm with that aggressive, physical brand of basketball that grabs your attention instantly. He plays with a nonstop motor, fearless attitude, and killer confidence that lets him attack anyone in front of him. His rhas unlimited range, and once he gets rolling he becomes a walking problem who can score at all three levels with force. Dakota combines strength, smooth shot-making, and explosive athletic pop that makes defenders look helpless trying to slow him down. Add in his high IQ play, toughness, and hunger to outwork everybody on the floor, and he becomes a straight-up takeover threat every single night.
He is already producing like a future star, averaging 16 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, and a steal per game while controlling the game with power and purpose. His shot has real punch to it, and his ability to handle the ball, attack the rim, and punish closeouts makes him dangerous from anywhere. Dakota improved his speed and skill in the offseason, and it shows. Reaching the state tournament lit a fire under him, pushing him to elevate everything, and the jump has been loud.
Dakota loves the heat of a rivalry, especially when Chapmanville battles Logan. Those games bring out the monster in him. Coaches know when he steps on the court, they’re getting everything he has, bringing leadership, toughness, IQ, and a motor that refuses to slow down. He thrives in packed gyms and big atmospheres, feeding off the energy and using it as fuel. Through it all, he stays calm and locked in, even when the moment gets wild.
He wants more than numbers. Dakota wants a state title. He wants to hang a banner for Chapmanville and leave a mark that lasts long after he graduates. That is the mission. That is the fire. The best advice he carries pushes him forward to keep grinding and never stop. That mindset shows every time he practices, competes, and attacks another challenge with full force.
I assess that Dakota brings toughness, scoring punch, and high-energy play that instantly boost a college program. He shoots it deep, gets downhill with strength, sets the tone physically, and plays with the kind of fire coaches want on the floor. His shot-making, defense, and ability to lift teammates make him a real difference-maker.
Expect Dakota to rise fast. His athletic growth, expanding skillset, and nonstop motor position him to become one of the most complete guards in his class. With a fearless style, big-game confidence, and a hunger for titles, Dakota is poised to become the centerpiece of winning teams and a major problem at the next level. Stay tuned.
