6’4, 175lbs, Class of 2028

Pigeon Forge HS, TN

Bryson is a dynamic two-way machine built to dominate every inch of the floor. He brings explosive athleticism, smooth scoring touch, court vision, and a playmaking feel that lets him control the pace as both a point guard and combo guard. His quick trigger from deep, crafty footwork off the bounce, and fearless finishes above the rim make him a problem offensively, while his defensive fire, disruptive instincts, and ability to flip momentum with stops make him just as dangerous on the other end. He rebounds with intent, creates for teammates, dictates tempo, and plays with an edge that shows up in every possession.

As a freshman, Bryson delivered 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game, showing production that most players don’t reach until later in high school. This past summer pushed him even further. He grew physically, gained weight, and improved his efficiency across the board. His bounce increased, his shot became quicker and smoother, and his confidence expanded in every part of his game. He stepped into this season as a stronger, sharper, more complete guard ready to command the floor.

Bryson’s game already includes dangerous shooting, elite defensive energy, and above-the-rim ability, but he’s focused on taking everything to another level. He reelimn in his ball handling, shot spacing, shot creation, agility, and strength. His goal is to create more paint touches, open up the floor for teammates, and elevate everyone around him. He wants Pigeon Forge to be a team that surprises people, one that rises from being the underdog to punching its ticket to the glasshouse.

One of his favorite memories came from scoring 22 points, adding 8 rebounds, and 5 assists as a freshman in a rivalry win, it's the first in years. And that fire for rivalry games hasn’t faded. Gatlinburg Pittman is circled every season, and Bryson is ready to unleash everything when those lights come on.

Coaches should know they’re getting toughness, leadership, shot-making, and relentless drive every time he steps on the floor. When the moment gets tight and a bucket is needed, he’s the one they look to. What truly fuels him, though, is defense. When he locks in, balls his fists, and lets out a scream, the entire gym feels the shift. He thrives under pressure, feeds off adversity, and turns negativity into fuel that pushes him to perform at an even higher level.

His mindset is built for big moments. When shots aren’t falling, he listens to the advice that changed his approach as a shooter: keep firing with confidence because the next one is always the one that drops. That mentality keeps him dangerous, no matter what the scoreboard says.

This season, Bryson is focused on leading Pigeon Forge into battles against bigger programs that sharpen their edge for the postseason. He wants to dominate, elevate his teammates, and show that the Tigers are not the team people remember, they’re the team people will remember after this year.

Off the floor, Bryson enjoys fishing, backpacking, hunting, and enjoying the outdoors. He holds a 4.01 GPA, competes in track and field events like high jump and decathlon, and represents Tennessee Impact on the 3SSB Circuit. He has no offers yet, but with his size, skill, production, and upward trajectory, the attention is coming.

Bryson Morrissette is an under-the-radar talent with top-level potential. He’s built for the moment, built for competition, and built to take over games at a young age. Every season is another step, and this one is shaping up to be the season that puts everyone on notice.

I assess that Bryson brings a combination of explosiveness, shot-making, and two-way impact that fits the modern guard perfectly. His length, athleticism, and ability to score at all three levels make him an immediate asset for programs looking to add a guard who can attack mismatches, generate offense, and provide strong defensive intensity. His combination of IQ, confidence, and competitive fire gives him the tools to thrive at the next level while still offering plenty of room to evolve even more

Bryson’s ceiling is extremely high. With continued development in paint touches, ball control, strength, and perimeter creation, he has the potential to become a multi-dimensional floor general capable of running a team and taking over when needed. His fearless mentality, love for defense, and ability to elevate teammates signal a future leader at the varsity and collegiate levels. Expect him to grow into a dominant scorer, a disruptive defender, and a playmaker who impacts winning in every direction. Stay tuned.
