Volunteer High School, TN

Lincoln plays quarterback with a dynamic, electric presence that lights up a field the second he touches the ball. He brings a fierce blend of pocket poise, explosive arm talent, and crafty improvisation that makes him dangerous from every angle. Lincoln commands the offense like a general with a full view of the battlefield, reading defensive leverage, dissecting coverages, and controlling tempo with a maturity far beyond his age. What separates him from every other young quarterback in his class is the combination of leadership, IQ, and pure playmaking instinct. He can carve a defense up from the pocket with accuracy, escape danger with quick feet, and turn broken plays into highlight moments. Coaches should know they get a calm, confident, high-level operator who manages the offense, elevates teammates, and plays with a competitive fire that never fades every time he steps on the field.

His numbers tell the full story of his rise. After flashing promise at Jefferson County with 247 passing yards, 5 touchdowns, and a 44 percent completion rate, Lincoln exploded into one of Tennessee’s most exciting young quarterbacks at Volunteer. This season, he completed 128 of 204 passes (63%) for 1,907 yards, 23 touchdowns, and added 140 rushing yards with 3 scores, leading his squad to a 7–3 record after they were 0–9 the year before. His growth in leadership and on-field IQ has been his biggest improvement. He now audibles at the line, diagnoses fronts, identifies safety leverage, and even commands entire drives without glancing at the sideline. Losing four games only fueled him more, elevating his hunger to break past round one next year and shatter the program’s standard. His goals are to build a stronger culture, take the next step, and push his team deeper into the postseason.

Lincoln leads with purpose. He treats his teammates like brothers in a battle and plays with urgency and unity every snap. When chaos hits, he stays collected, resets the huddle, keeps spirits high, and responds like a quarterback built for pressure. He studies opponents, watches their tendencies, tracks alignment, and makes real-time adjustments that many upper-level students struggle with. His motivation comes from the grind with year-round work, the repetition, the hours developing his craft. His goal is to compete at the FCS DI level at programs like WCU, ETSU, JMU, or EKU, but he remains open to JUCO or D2 opportunities if that is the best path to grow, develop, and earn his shot. With visits already to WCU, VT, ETSU, JMU, Austin Peay, and Emory & Henry, he is steadily building his name as a rising young prospect.

I assess that Lincoln’s sharp field vision, disciplined mechanics, and ability to control the offense make him a valuable asset for a college program. His accuracy, calm under pressure, and natural leadership allow him to run a system efficiently while still creating explosive plays when the structure breaks down. His rising IQ and command of defensive reads give him the tools to thrive early at the next level.

Lincoln’s confidence, production, and ability to elevate his team signal a quarterback with long-term potential. Expect his frame to fill out, his arm strength to climb, and his command of the game to grow rapidly. As he keeps sharpening his reads, expanding his mobility, and embracing the leadership demanded of great quarterbacks, he projects as a future college playmaker with the competitive edge to become something special. Stay tuned.
