Kellen is pure electricity in motion, a fierce defender with a non-stop motor, and a fearless game that hits from every angle. He’s outworks everyone on the floor, diving for loose balls, hounding ball handlers, and pulling up from deep with a smooth, confident touch. Kellen is a pass-first-floor general with a scorer’s touch, capable of zipping passes in tight windows, finishing around the rim, or knocking down a timely jumper from midrange or beyond the arc. Whether he’s cutting with purpose, flying in for rebounds, or clamping down on defense, he does it all with fire and focus. Coaches should know they’re getting the energy, effort, and unselfish play that fuels team succes the second he checks in.

Kellen stuffed the stat sheet this past season, averaging 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. His most explosive moments came against top-tier teams, including a 30-point, 7-rebound explosion against Thurgood Marshall and 23 more against Columbus Academy, proving he can shine on the big stage. His most improved areas were attacking the rim and ball-handling, and he’s now focused on elevating his decision-making and playmaking even more. With DYT Elite on the AAU circuit, Kellen’s goal is to keep improving and have fun doing it. He’s especially excited for the upcoming tournament in Sandusky, where he’ll have another opportunity to showcase his game and bring his nonstop energy to a new level.

Looking ahead to next season, Kellen is ready to keep building, working on his craft, staying busy year-round, and putting himself in a position to earn looks from the next level. He feeds off clutch moments: a big-time three, a momentum-shifting rebound, or a lockdown stop that swings a game. When facing adversity, he stays composed, reads the situation, and adjusts without losing his edge. He’s a coach’s dream, teachable, energetic, and all about the team. The best advice he’s received is, “If you make the shot, he won’t say anything… but if you miss, be ready.” That keeps Kellen grounded and dangerous—always confident, never rattled.

I assess that Kellen brings an elite blend of effort, IQ, and toughness to the guard position. His deep shooting, scrappy defense, and pass-first mentality make him a plug-and-play asset who can instantly impact team rhythm and momentum. He raises the energy of everyone around him.

As his decision-making and rim attacks continue to develop, Kellen’s all-around game will only get more dangerous. Expect him to keep making noise on the AAU circuit and enter next season as a rising name with the tools to grow into a complete and college-caliber floor leader. Stay tuned.
