6’1, 165lbs, Class of 2027

Franklin HS, TN

Collin hits the court like a lightning bolt, shaking defenders with a dynamic combination of skill, craft, and fearless confidence. He is a shifty playmaker with silky smooth range that rains from deep, explosive bounce that punishes defenders with his fierce middy, and a storm of crafty finishes at the rim that keep crowds buzzing. His court vision is electric, seeing angles before they open and dropping dazzling dimes that flip momentum in seconds. Collin’s defensive effort never wavers, sliding with toughness and staying locked in on every matchup. What truly elevates him is his willingness to do whatever his team needs. He can score at all three levels, facilitate like a floor general, ignite runs with pace and energy, and anchor possessions with leadership and composure. Every time he steps on the floor, he brings a level of power, poise, and playmaking juice that makes his entire game jump off the page.

The proof is in the numbers. Collin averaged 17 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds per game last season, while shooting a blistering 53 percent from three-point range and 80 percent from the free-throw line. His biggest improvement is his strength, transforming from 147 pounds last season to 165 pounds to open this year. That added muscle unlocked new driving angles, stronger finishes, and the ability to use his body to bump defenders off their path. This offseason, he was focused on staying consistently aggressive, getting to his spots, and creating great looks for teammates. The most impactful moment from last season was the region semifinal loss to Centennial, a game that fueled his fire for the entire year. He is ready to lead Franklin through battles like Brentwood, his fiercest rival, and believes his team has what it takes to go far. His coaches can expect leadership, intensity, and a fighting effort every single night. Off the court, Collin finds motivation from the underappreciated moments of his past two seasons, using every slight as fuel for the player he is becoming. He enjoys giving crowds a show and wants everyone walking out of a gym remembering the name Collin The Guard.

When facing adversity, Collin turns to God. His faith is his anchor, shaping him into a better player and a better person. He knows God has pulled him from difficult situations and strengthened him through each trial, and he carries that gratitude and trust into every game he plays.

One piece of advice that guides him came from his third-grade coach, who told him that hard work pays off. That message became a foundation for everything he does. Off the court, he spends time with family, close friends, and winds down with video games. His recruitment continues to rise with interest from Tennessee Tech, Lipscomb University, Kennesaw State University, and James Madison University. He plans to play D1 basketball and is already showing why that goal is within reach. Just last night, he exploded for 28 points against Hillsboro, making it look easy and opening the season with true breakout force.

I assess that Collin brings a powerful mix of long-range shooting, smooth finishing, elite passing, decisive playmaking, and on-ball toughness that can lift a college program instantly. His ability to create at all three levels, command the offense, and infuse possessions with energy gives coaches a guard who can orchestrate, score, defend, and lead. He impacts winning in every area and adds value to any system through efficiency and versatility.

As Collin continues to strengthen his body, sharpen his aggression, and expand his creation ability, his rise will only accelerate. His combination of three-level scoring, dynamic vision, and competitive purpose sets him up for a strong long-term future. With his motivation, belief, and nonstop work ethic, he has the potential to become a major impact guard at the next level and a name that continues to rise across the basketball landscape. Stay tuned as he is just scratching the surface of his potential.
