Huntington Expressions Prep, WV

Isaiah is a fierce and electric guard who plays the game with pure intensity. His downhill attacks come with speed that forces defenders onto their heels, and once he reaches the rim, he finishes with power, balance, and confidence. He brings a crafty ability to create off the bounce, a smooth rhythm from the 3-point line, and a strong sense of when to strike. His strength gains are evident in the way he absorbs contact, maintains control, and powers through defenders. Isaiah brings leadership with his voice and presence, reading the floor with instinct and reacting fast when the game speeds up. He competes with fire on both ends and plays with the kind of energy that changes the tone of a game. He fuels his teammates to know he is a game-shifting presence built on athleticism, toughness, and heart.

This season, Isaiah has embraced his growth with purpose. His biggest improvement since last year has been adding 15 pounds of strength, which elevated everything from his finishing to his physical presence on defense. His three-point shot has become more consistent through offseason reps and added confidence. Coaches can expect defensive pressure, nonstop effort, and a two-way punch every time he checks in. His goals this year are to lead his team to more wins, set the standard with his energy, and be the type of teammate who lifts everyone around him. His biggest spark comes in transition, where a fast break dunk flips a switch inside him and ignites the entire gym. When facing adversity, he stays calm, positive, and locked in. He has interest from several local D2 programs in West Virginia and continues to build toward that next-level opportunity.

Isaiah’s game has earned strong recognition throughout West Virginia. Ranked among the top players in his class, his consistency and effort have drawn praise through multiple events. He has shown that he can score at all levels, finish through traffic, and attack defenders with decisive force. Evaluators have taken note of his explosiveness, his speed returning after injury, and his ability to control pace as a true guard. Isaiah has displayed strong command in showcase settings, knocking down shots, creating for teammates, and bringing intensity on defense. His recovery from injury showed resilience and mental toughness, and now that his speed and lift are coming back, he has again become one of the toughest guards to contain in the region. His ability to stay patient through the process and still dominate speaks to his competitive nature.

This season, he wants to leave no doubt about what he brings to the court. Isaiah approaches every possession with purpose, treating the game with respect and hunger. He is determined to help his team make noise across the state and prove that he is continuing to rise among West Virginia’s best guards. His focus on strength, consistency, shooting, and leadership aligns perfectly with the trajectory he is climbing toward. Everything he does is driven by energy, passion, and unwavering belief in the work.

I assess that Isaiah brings a mix of physicality, athletic burst, and disciplined effort that fits easily into a college program. His downhill attacking ability keeps defenses honest, while his growing three-point consistency forces opponents to respect him on the perimeter. His defensive commitment and competitiveness make him valuable in any system. Isaiah’s strength gains and dedication to improvement position him as a guard who can change momentum, break down defenders, and provide an immediate spark to a roster that values toughness and scoring ability.

Isaiah’s ceiling continues to rise as he adds more strength, tightens his shooting, and refines his decision-making. His athleticism and ability to finish through contact give him long-term upside, and his energy makes him a natural playmaker at both ends of the court. Expect him to continue elevating as he grows into his frame, increases consistency, and gains more experience against high-level competition. His future is bright, and his competitive drive will keep pushing him toward becoming one of the premier guards in his class. Stay tuned.
