Ryan is the kind of guard that slowly breaks teams apart possession by possession until they finally realize the damage is already done. Relentless attacking, high IQ reads, dazzling passing, unlimited range shooting, and fierce defense all come together in his game. Ryan attacks basketball with the mentality of a bulldog that never backs down and never stops coming. Every time he steps on the floor, his goal is to keep defenses guessing, apply nonstop pressure, and find every crack possible to exploit.

Winning back-to-back state championships takes a completely different level of toughness, sacrifice, discipline, and hunger. For Ryan, the biggest moments were not just the celebrations or cutting down nets after another title run. The moments that stand out most are the endless hours in the gym that helped create those championships behind the scenes. Every workout, every shot, every sprint, and every sacrifice helped shape the mindset that carried his team through another unforgettable season and postseason run.

Ryan’s game is loaded with strengths, but what stands out most is how complete he has become as a guard. While many recognize him as a sniper from deep and a lockdown defender, his basketball IQ may be the most dangerous part of his game now. The way he sees the floor, controls tempo, and processes situations allows him to constantly stay one step ahead. He understands where defenders are vulnerable and knows exactly how to make the right play almost instinctively.

This season, Ryan averaged 11.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.2 steals while helping lead another championship run. Those numbers become even more impressive considering he missed nearly a month after suffering a partially torn ankle ligament. A lot of players would have let an injury like that affect their confidence or mentality, but Ryan refused to allow adversity to slow him down. One of his biggest performances came against Central when he exploded for 27 points in a game that became personal motivation. That performance proved to himself that the injury had not taken anything away from his game and reminded everyone watching exactly what kind of competitor he is.

His postseason and state title run only added more respect to his growing reputation. Ryan consistently delivered winning plays on both ends of the floor while bringing the toughness, leadership, composure, and confidence every championship team needs from its guards.

The AAU season with Chattanooga Basketball 17U has pushed his game even further. Ryan has been putting together a monster spring and summer because everything is starting to click at once. Playing with teammates he trusts has allowed the game to slow down even more for him, and his confidence keeps growing every event. One of the biggest improvements showing up right now is his ability to get downhill and finish at the rim whenever his team needs a bucket. Pair that with his improving outside shot, and defenders are quickly running out of answers.

Adversity once again tested Ryan during his recovery from the ankle injury, but he leaned heavily on his coaches and teammates throughout the process. Instead of feeling sorry for himself or losing focus, he attacked rehab and continued grinding until he got back to full strength. That kind of toughness reveals a lot about who he is both as a player and as a competitor.

The goals driving Ryan now are far beyond individual stats or recognition. He wants to continue getting stronger, become an even more complete player, and prove himself against the highest level of competition during AAU season and live period play. Every game becomes another opportunity to sharpen his edge and continue building toward the next level.

When college coaches pull up to watch Ryan, they are going to see a player who competes with toughness every single possession. They are going to see a bulldog guard who makes high-IQ plays, defends relentlessly, shoots confidently, and refuses to show weakness no matter the circumstances. Most importantly, they are going to see a player completely focused on helping his team win.

I assess that Ryan is a complete two-way guard who impacts games with intelligence, toughness, and versatility. His ability to defend, control tempo, create offense, and knock down shots makes him extremely valuable on both ends of the floor. He competes with confidence and consistently makes winning plays in pressure moments.

Ryan’s combination of basketball IQ, defensive toughness, passing ability, and improving scoring versatility gives his game strong upside moving forward. Battling through injury while still performing at a high level showed major mental toughness. As he continues to improve his downhill scoring and overall strength, his game becomes even tougher to defend because defenses already have to respect his shooting and decision-making.
